  1. We went heavy for yrs, but too heavy, so knocked it all on the head for a decade. But few yrs ago started going to a rave again just 3/4 times a yr and I tell ya it's better now. Don't get as wild or do near as much and it's better. The vibe at a rave or festival when it's all 30s/40s/50s is amazing, we stay away from the gigs full of teenagers and 20 yr olds.
  2. 97 and it was lovely at first bite. We lived for the music and the raves. Mid 40s now I still rave a few times a yr. Don't go as heavy as we did when we were kids, no more 3 day benders but if Im honest I enjoy it more now, don't get as f****d up and I remember and enjoy everything at every rave.
  3. Get out for a bit of a mooch this evening. All the fields are stubble now but the cover is still wildly over grown. Plenty of young game birds about and good few big ears. Zara really coming on, follows the Russell everywhere and went away on scent with him. Looking forward to seeing her at a mark. Im gonna give her some lamping too at very least keep her fit.
  4. Dog trapped underground for four days in Brampton rescued WWW.BBC.COM Sherlock the Lakeland terrier survives four days in an old badger sett without food and water.
  5. Anyone know if this show is going ahead? Got eircode for it? Tks.
  6. Actually got two of em. Great fight on the light gear and could see em take the bait in the clear water. V happy
  7. They arrived at a time the was but of overlap with stone age and bronze age, early bronze age.
  8. Most in Ireland and England trace their DNA to them.
  9. Pre Christian doesn't mean neolithic. The neolithic farmers that built the monuments(most likely from Iberia with dark skin) their DNA and population was usurped by another wave of stoneage people the beaker people from Ukraine area fair haired people
  10. The neolithic people that built stonage monuments their DNA has been almost wiped out cept for small percentage in the population
  11. Fascinating stuff. Im big into the Irish mythology neolithic stuff and how DNA science is basically proving that the ancient myths have the truth in em. Im sure the mythology of other cultures are the same. Our stories and native languages tells us everything.
  12. We're inbred currs.....stop fighting over race
  13. But how could 4 billion people evolve if related to only a small handful of humans without serious inbreeding problems? Nature frowns on in breeding, small gene pools die out.
  14. I get ya. There's DNA today that can be traced to Eve not that necessarily everyone today is directly related to Eve. Still definitely some out crossing imo, only way to explain the different types of humans.....Im not using that as a superiority bull shit just that at the same time at some stage different human like species definitely interbred in different parts of the planet and them hybrids were eventually morphed into the people we are today.
  15. I don't believe in the Bible or any other organized religion so unfortunately we're on different elevations.
  16. We're all animal people, know but about breeding n genetics etc....We know without out crossing breeds become defunct. There must have been our crosses for all the different types of people around the world to evolve in the different ways we did? Probably all our mitochondrial DNA can be traced to Eve but there must have been new genes inserted into the pool to allow healthy population growth???
  17. I get ya. I thought it meant everyone on the planet was related to Eve.
  18. Im not sure if you're serious or taking the piss?
  19. My only issue with that is the idea of interbreeding. Evolution decided too much interbreeding will finish any species but we all descendants from one female?? But I think there must have been our crosses along the way.
  20. Science is evolving all the time so is our story. I don't believe we're all descendants of one small tribe because that would inevitably lead to inbreeding which would mean extinction. I buy more into the different human type evolving and interbreeding in different parts of the world and leading to a dominant but varied genetic gene pool.
  21. Sure at one time they think now at least 5 human like species existed on the planet. Until proven otherwise the general excepted theory is modern humans are the number one species for about 100,000 yrs.
