that is very true if some body goes out to see dog run that hasnt been conditioned right and it runs shit the whole litter could be slated even though the rest could be doing well you only get out what you put in but got to agree with border terrier as there has got to be some thing there to work with to begin with

i think its all to do with the breeding.if you are going to mate lurcher to lurcher you have got to make sure they are similar in temprement and performance as it is a mistake to try and add some thing to a lurcher from a lurcher especialy from a saluki saturated strain as they are funny animals at the best of times.lucky is the grand father to my pup who is 9 months old and would run through a brick wall to get her game but this might be off her fathers side who is a whippetxgreyhound and would die before he would quit.

pw breeds some nice dogs i have seen some pics of his catches very impressive. i dont no the guy but if i was looking for fresh blood i think he would get my vote

if your buying a coursing whippet make sure the parents have proved there selfs in the field and are throwing good pups.

i feed chudleys working crunch mixed with beef and tripe and any kills the dogs get i have fed my dogs this way for the last twenty years and never noticed any ill efect dogs have always thrived on it.

stamina and the whippet greyhound hasnt got it for a proper night on the old rabbits and whats wrong with the old non-peds? non peds rule on the race track pure breds rule on the the coursing field dont agree with whippetxgreyhound having no stamina this fellow can work all day

i had a borderxfell a few years a go that would go for a throat hold and would do a crocodile roll twisting chunks off or choking what ever she had a hold of was the quickest killer i have seen
