    Think I use what you guys basically call a lurcher, or something very simmillar. Australians use different dogs because a lot of their hunting they drive too, here (new zealand) we walk, and the dogs can go,miles so hard on dogs use bailing dogs.     i agree but theres allways one that sticks out from the rest wether its the style of running or some thing else what i liked about that judy bitch was it was as fast as the bigger dogs could stick on a hare like glue and stay for ever it pressured the hare constantly were as some try to ware the hare down first before they start working on it

    i am shipping a whippet out to cyprus needed to get its rabies injection and vet checked the day before it leaves its just a pet pass port but i dont know if its the same regulations for this country i reckon it will be i think they need to be blood tested before you can bring them over here.i hope you get one mate

    whats the best dog you ever seen run mines is a bitch i seen run on one of the callender cup videos it was a whippet/grewxsaluki/grew it was beat in the final by a big dog on heavy plough on one hare for some reason but i think the bitch would have beat it if it wasnt for the ground they ran on whats your favourites

    greyhounds by a mile frank i dont no about racing but i have coursed both and my whippets seem to be less injury prone than even the lurchers as most of my dog injuries are from barbed wire an the whippets can usually follow through instead of going over.

    totally agree mate theres always going to be con men and as you said better to see the dog run and any genuine dog man will show you or give you a trial i dont see the point of lieing about a dogs capibilities as you will only get found out and get a bad name

    well said mate i am only interested in one pacific quarry and not all dogs make the grade so have sold a few in my time and most were over the moon with them on easier quarry as long as the dog has been reared right and is fit and healthy.

    where did you get it from mate,, and how big is the dog you got in it,, :thumbs-up: the dogs 24 tts and has plenty of room to stretch out there called kenny kennels and i got them off the internet i think that is a medium sized one
