nice pups interesting cross that .how do you find them in the field are they quick to come on or are they slow to mature? should have good feet and plenty of stamina do they run off on a scent or are they quite controllable? sorry for all the questions but was always intersted in this sort of breeding

i dont give mine anything before a hunt but my mate yoused to give his a couple of bits of toasted bred but personally i dont see the need

anybody ever worked a cairn?i new a guy a few year back that worked them to fox good bolters but would also stay they would just lay off a fox to they were either dug or bolted very rarely got marked up anybody else had any experiance with this type of terrier
