  1. They are fast but it comparrison to what? Not as fast as a whippet. They break quite easily
  2. Well done, chuffed to bits for you How old is the pup?
  3. I'd have any dog that filled the freezer, you never know when times are gonna be that you rely on the dog as much as they rely on you
  4. Yes mate, had same thing with my Akita when he was a pup. Vet told us he had a severe heart murmur and i almost took him back to the breeder. He seemed perfectly fine to us so we left it, when he got his first yearly booster around 14 months old i asked them to check his heart and Vet said all was perfect. He lived to a good old age, i only had him PTS in May this year Some pups hearts just take a little longer to seal off than others, give it time and see if yours does. I'd say by 4-5 months his heart will be perfect
  5. whip/grey X 3/4 grey/ 1/4 whip with a drop of bull in dams side
  6. I can't wait because it'll be my first season for me and the pup Hurry up rain, early nightfall & harvested fields
  7. Most Pedigree dog breeders & show people wont feed the stuff, that's why they've dropped out of the market and don't sponsor shows like they used to. Can't remember the last time the winner of Crufts was announced as a dog fed on Pedigree

Take no notice mate, i enjoyed them, almost as good as being there in person. Keep it up
  9. So where has the black & tan come from? Nice pup btw
  10. Best to introduce them to cats as young as possible especially your own cats, still not too late but keep a close eye on them.
  11. First parent can't be more than a whole dog 1/4 + 1/4 + 2/3 = 1 and a bit extra dogs! If you meant 1/4, 1/4 + 1/2 = 1 whole then it'd be ........... .a good amount of Greyhound with the right amount of bull and a little pinch of Deerhound (maths aint my best subject).
  12. Why not look in the for sale section? Granted that most are available now but sometimes a young litter are advertised before they are ready
  13. I handed her to my partner whilst i put other bitch on the lead turned around and he was ontop of her and quickly pulled off I wouldnt say shes gained any weight just teats are slightley larger than usual. But you stated in your first post that the dogs were after her as soon as your partner arrived so you put this bitch in the house. Why then did you bring her back into contact with the dogs? I know it's far from ideal to abort a pregnancy and spay at this stage (if she is pregnant) but it's been done plenty of times when a bitch has a C-section they'll sometimes spay at the s
  14. You knew the dogs were pestering her so why on earth did you bring her back into the company of the boys as even on a lead you/him couldn't control them You should take her in and have the pups aborted and have her spayed at the same time. Get all your bitches done so there's no future "accidents"
  15. Nice pup mate, the sire looks more of a deerhound X than beddy, he's a big lad for a beddy X
  16. If she isn't acting like a normal pup of her age then straight to the vets mate. If she is really bright, happy & playful then it sounds like a food intollerance.................. Most common cause in dogs is wheat gluten, it's not the only cause but i'd suggest giving it no mixer biscuits or dry food that isn't "wheat gluten free" or something specifically designed for those with a sensitive digestion. If she firms up after 24-48 hours then you've narrowed it to a food problem and you'll need to keep it on a food that suits her. Given that she's so young she stands every chance
  17. Well done Chopper & pals, a great night out - Result!
  18. So very for your sad loss CG, try to keep your chin up, i know it's hard. Take comfort from her pup and if there's any justice she will be as good as her mother who was a stunning dog. If there's any justice SWY will get run over by a bus and die after a few days of terrible pain & suffering you miserable, evil B*stard!
  19. Last photo 6pack is the best advert i've seen for kennelling a dog versus house dog Lovely progress pics on here, they all change so much and so quickly. Only seems like yesterday since i bought my pup home.
  20. Great read & pics, thanks for brining it up
  21. Mine at about 14 weeks Around 5 months and 8 months So hard to get a pic of her standing still lol
  22. I'm really sorry to hear of everything thats happened, most of all the dogs as they can't be replaced easily. I tried to search your old posts but it only comes up with these 2 today, very strange. If it's been a long time since you last visited/posted maybe they get deleted after a certain time frame?
