You went to him Giro, how many years has Aaron been waiting for Whin to go to Cumbria?
-
Ooo I bet they would be shitting themselves ........ Aye everyone will be in hiding if they think the "mighty Whin" is heading to their door. Come all without, come all within You'll not see nothing like the mighty Whin Come all without, come all within The mans a blaw, he's the mighty Whin He's out there killing loads of gear When he's not talking shite on here Salmos, beasties and plenty of hares Rabbits by the sackfull That he catches with snares He's had the lot, animal and fish But is he for real or just talkin' pish? Come all without, come all with

Seemingly not.

Was that the litter near Girvan, if so can I ask why they were unsuitable?
-
This is the lurcher section, that might be the reason.
-
also I never see a lot of lads who shoot take big numbers ..I couldn't think of anything nor boring than sitting there on a cold night waiting to pop a few bunny's of. . They might not take big numbers but they don't respect seasons either, they firing all year long. And we all know the lurcher lads respect seasons.

Bosun, if I could "like" your post I would.

A dog of mixed breeding with at least a bit of sighthound in there. Must chew feck out of the kennel as a pup. Never listens to commands. Fecks off as soon as it's off the lead. Chooses when and what to run. Loves livestock. Yapps when it does decide to give chase. Jacks when it feels like it. Retrieves, no fecking chance, fecks off and eats the catch. Oh aye, pisses the bed. Sure I've missed more.

Not for me that line of thought. Some pups will eat as much as they need which is fine, but some will just eat for the sake of it if it's left in front of them making themselves obese which in turn puts extra pressure/strain on organs/bones/tendons etc. I'd be more concerned by the quality not the quantity a pup was being fed, good quality grub is more important than the amount. Don't think anyone could give you an exact amount e.rhys.w as there's too many variables, size, weight, how active the pup is, the only person who can judge that is yourself as you see him ever

Bullshit!!!!

Do you mean a full collie crossed with a lurcher?

The plr 500 would be overkill for an air rifle mate, have a look at some of the cree torches on ebay that come with scope mount etc, here's an one below. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CREE-LED-XML-T6-ZOOMABLE-Scope-Mount-Light-Lamp-Hunting-Gun-Air-Rifle-Torch-KIT-/141743510462?hash=item21009253be:g:3w0AAOSwNyFWg5iw

Welcome. Have a look on the forum, sure there's more than one post about them. I've got one but as I've already said I'm not their biggest fan, beam's too tight for running a dog imo and I also find it difficult to spot rabbits if the grass is a bit clumpy, the white light doesn't show eye shine the same as a halogen bulb. That said for the money they're nice and light and have a good distance to the beam.
-
That a Plummer terrier Gaz is it yours, how long you had it?
-
After reading all the positive reviews on here about the PLR500 I went out and bought one, the above sums it up for me, I find the beam too tight and the light is that white I have trouble spotting rabbits unless the grass is really cropped. The positives are the cost and the distance of the beam but at the moment I prefer the light from a halogen bulb. you do need a night or two to get yous to the light culer then it be comes the norm for you mate It's not just the whiteness of the light I just find the beam far too tight for running dogs with. I've been out with it a good few

Well done Tomo and Bonny, good write up and pic. You're well wrapped up anyway.

Three of my mates fed CSJ a few years back so I gave it a go, although I'd heard good reviews about it I didn't rate it as good as Chudleys Crunch or Gain 28, my mates no longer feed it either.
-
Started feeding Autarky salmon about 18 months ago and haven't changed, I rate it. That said I feed raw at night and just a cup of dry in the morning.
-
What site is that sold on mate? It's £47 on ebay Different sizes mate, £16 would be for 160 grams, £47 for 500 grams. Lawsons are doing 500g for £33. http://www.lawsonanimalfeeds.co.uk/vitamins-supplements/108-vetsearch-white-e-500gm.html

The rabbits won't see her coming.

Did you make that up all by yourself.

"When is the bitch working"? Surely if your breeding from a bitch she'll have had numerous seasons under her belt before you'd think of breeding from her? That's when she'd have been working. And if you have a yearly breaker that comes in season Sept/Oct are you suggesting she shouldn't be bred from? I've brought pups in during spring, summer, autumn and winter and never found much difference tbh, they all get started when they're ready, just because it's the start of the season doesn't mean you've got to start the pup off. if you can afford to keep multiple dogs running thats
