Bit off both for our girls, Having the dry option is also good on the rare weekends away, can ask a friend to check and feed if necessary, and they dont have to bother with defrosting carcasses.etc
-
They make wonderful compost for the runner bean row! Best year for beans last year! I was shocked when I first saw their teeth, but when you think about it, Worms arent exactly the most melt in the mouth so guess they need the Chompers nice and sharp, And as DS said boy o boy can they move when they are above ground.!

shitsu x great Dane for me but mustnt be from working stock, must be out of free adds on a mobile number from a bloke called jon to be picked up from a service station on the M5

Firstly if this is truely what you feel then get real! maybe the hunting bunch talk about it because they can see what is happening. I have no problem with people who live and work and become part of our society, but scroungers and anti Brits who dont like our way of life should go back home, Ok our parliments have made some pretty big mistakes imo but that doesnt mean that we have to roll over and put up with it.

love the two we have and would happily stick with hancock dogs. Great temperment and character. Funny how so many say they cant stand them, however when we go to game fairs, not in the place 2 mins and have all sorts of people asking about ours, must be something good about them

As you can see we have two hancocks. both times kennels where clean and dogs happy. Will hopefully be going back at some point to get another one. They are both good working dogs, Ok not from working stock but really dont think that makes any differance. As for david when we went there the first time, wanted to come away with two dogs, if he was as much of a money grabber as made out by some he would have happily made double the money, however he said that as they were going to be working then in his opinion it would be better to have one now and come back a year or so later for another one

Cute pup! Like the flicka idea as a name, nice meaning as well. Called our two Fenn and Ginny, - After all they are great rabitt traps!!! Dont know what we will call the next one! If its a boy could be magnum! All the best with her anyway. So long as you have food for her and a share of the sofa she wont care what you call her

We had one of our hobs vascetomised and always does the job if we dont want kits. The only time we had one jill that didnt get served we had to put her to sleep, dont know if maybe hob wasnt interested because he knew there was something wrong . . . . but? Would rather keep a hob with the girls than risk loosing them. Each to their own I think,

Sorry sw thought there should have been someone who covered your area from them, might be worth giving their main number a call, they often have new agents , might be someone around your neck of the woods. - Other than that get one of the mags like smallholding or practical poultry, they often have lists of breeders in the classifieds

type in meadowsweet birds on net, might have a dealer local to you, most of their birds are good layers, not very fancy althought the bluebells are definately differant to look at, the larger white ones were very docile and tame. Finer looking whites with almost fan tails were very flighty but lovely to look at (used to roost in trees rather than shed! birds are usually 5-12 pounds so not cheap, but they are healthy birds. Some birds you can get cheaper in auctions can often have viruses etc. Once you get something like microplasma in your flock, you might as well make a big curry! youll n

Molly, Think your mystry red is a gladiolus. Cannas have large spade like leaves (slugs love them!) and Glads have thin large grass like leaves steming from base. Love aquilegias too, so many differant colour combinations still waiting for my Iris Brassie to flower, but iris blue king already out in flower, really intricate patterns on petals. Oh and planted a rose last year - Albertine, climber which smells gorgeous, and looks kinda good.

will try and get some of ours, yours look great, hope they do ok!

just do what my other half did, get anyone who live with you cleaning, feeding, handling them! they soon dont notice the smell!! definately helps as ts said to keep them clean. Also keep a sweatshirt i where when handling them, means that after i take it off and go shopping I dont get quite as many strange looks from people thinks I stink!!!

me thinks he meens Shallots!!! And next time he comes back with the birds hes cooking!!! Another option is to make a bit of sage and onion stuffing, remove breast of birds ( rest to ferrets) put one breast face down on some layers of streaky bacon, then on top of meat spread some of the moist stuffing then wrap the bacon around it. into roasting pan, bit of olive oil, port, finely sliced shallots or leeks and foil and cook. Dont forgett the dauphnois potatoes! goes perfect with them and really easy to make! ( just as good cold for breakfast! )

one other point worth considering, It is one heck of a commitment for you, but if you are in a relationship it also needs 100% comitment and support from that person. There are the weekends booked free, then another important customer rings! So long as you have the understanding of a partner then as everyone else has said do some reading up and go for it. You will probably find from time to time you seriously underquote, but its all part of that wonderful learning curve! In the first few years it definately helps to have another job to fall back on. Also ask yourself with this job is what

you should be able to use the library conection if you get yourself a card, Know its not much fun as not open all hours, but at least you could still touch base? Its totally free and I think you get either 30 or 60 mins on at a time. If not, dont be gone too long. just think of the plus sides, back to having your washing and cooking done for you know I wouldnt mind that some times! Anyway take care.

used to have 49 birds. Couldnt get enough eggs to sell from our door step! Same problem as you though, the underkeeper on the estate called while i was milking and said that he thought he had just seen a fox in the garden. Thought it had to be my mums lurcher (foxy looking blond mongeral! ) however when I got home 30min after builders had left and 15 after phone call, we only had 30 left She paid a heavy price though, she had left a trail of our birds for her cubs husband found the cubs 7 in total not long after that had to move (rented property) so only have 3 at present, but going

First time yesturday that I have spent time in chat room. rarely have time as husband usually hogs pc, Must admit though seems strange that anyone can log in under any name, maybe a the restriction that you have to log in under your user id would be an idea everyone knows exactly who they are talking to then? Would be a shame to lose it, nice bit of contact when out working/playing silly hours of day and night. Would hope that If I was one of the ones talking crap someone would tell me! presume it happened earlier in evening as everything seemed fine from 11.30 onwards. Cant I remeber

Dont do it nelson had to sell ours last year when we moved, regreated ever since, clean it up and get something growing in it. You know it will taste better than the supermarket rubbish.

Molly If you can give me a day or two I will quiz the boss. Work in the nursery of a National Trust garden, so someone there should know. I should be going in on tuesday, and will try and remember to ask. If you have any other queries re gardens, let me know, I will ask it all at the same time, Good to get the guys to do something for once!
