  1. Hi peeps what's the best stuff to use and how much it cost?
  2. All depends on conditions really. Personally I would fish the method and then keep feeding a margin and 5-6 meters out for the pole. Would then fish paste on the pole first on the 5m line and for the last hour try the margin swim for the bigger fish
  3. Oryt peeps I am looking at getting a new pole as I currently have the middy bagging machine and fancy something better. Anybody have the inspiration pole 16m I have been looking at them for a while and carnt make my mind up. just woundered if anybody has used then and what they are like Thanks
  4. I used to use the mk1 when i went with my dad then we packed in. I still have my old mk1 nut when i started again i went out and bought the mk3m. So glad that i did. The old mk1 was good in its day but i find that the mk3 is far far better at being accurate and once you get the hang of it its really easy to use, never fails. The only down side is the anoying noise it makes lol So if it was me i would defo go for the mk3 mate
  5. Oryt mate, I live at barnard castle and I will be attending
  6. I am using Bisley pest control pellets. I was speaking to a lad at work today and he said set it at about 35 yards with the scope set at 4x magnification? I have never had a scope with zoom so it's all new to me lol.
  7. Been out today with a target and noticed that if I am shooting at 50 yards the site is way out. Do you think I should set this as the benchmark with the scope zoomed in? Thanks
  8. Hi peeps I am after a cheap but good pod for my 22 BSA air rifle. Does anybody know of any? Thanks
  9. That's for reply sneeky. Should I have the zoom set right out or zoomed right in?
  10. Hi thanks for the reply. It's a BSA 22 air rifle. The pellets I am using are Bisley peat control pellets 5,5mm.
  11. Oryt peeps I have just got a new gun with scopes fitted but they are not set up. What's the best way about setting them up as I don't have a clue. I have got some targets and know about adjusting the sight but I am struggling with how far do I need to be to set them up? Also the sights have zoom on them and what should that be set too when I am setting them up? Thanks
  12. They are brand new reels so i will just put new on both. Does the line sink well too, as i dont really like using back leads? I looked on ebay its about £5 is that about the going rate? Thanks for help
  13. what you recon then clear or brown. Is it a thin line and its for pit reels so plenty needed lol
  14. Oryt lads/lasses i am after some new reel line. Would be looking at 15lb line not braid. Does anybody know of any good line that they would reccomend. I am looking at some fast sinking line, but nothing too thick that they fish are going to be able to see. Thanks
  15. i just feed mine the same all year round
  16. never seen one of them before mate, best off using google or something
  17. i can get my jills jabbed for £11 each which i think is good My mate is breeding me a kit this year so i might get a male and get him snipped
  18. i have two jills and i just give them a handful of alpha biscuits between them and so does my mate with his. They get fed this once a day and when i go down sometimes there are still buscuits left. If i can get hold of any cheap meat/liver at work i give them that as a treat, or like others say if i have had them out working and we get some rabbits i just chuck a rabbit in and let them eat that.
