yes they hunt by smell i use them manly for a bit of bushing and flushing but there will hunt and track just about any thing they just need a scent and a little encouragement they also mark very well

i would recomend the eric brooks trigger kit i got one on my cz 252 lh american and it is the dogs rearswingers it,s abit fidly to fit on the 252 american so igot my mate/localgunsmith to fit it and never looked back and the service from rimefire magic is second to none. p,s try a few springs in the kit some are a bit to light/leathel
