where are you getting this info from mate as all the paper work we got from the bmra home office etc said that thre is no cash exemptions the only examption was on ittinaratte collectors but they had to be regitsard as a scrap metal merchant waste carriers licence etc but the exemption ment that there can only pay cash the records are kept the same as the yards BUT THERE CAN NOT GET CASH PAYMENTS IT DOSENT MENTION NO FIXED ABODE ETC please can you post a link to it for me so i can print it off

thats was filmed just up the road from me my uncle nos the family well mate and that film done them no justace as it made them look simple but infact they wre top notch engineers and could make any part and repair sort of steam or agricultral machineary they were also very well none in southern england as the go to people for steam engine and boiler repairs etc saddley most of them are no longer with us

:thumbs:it depends which engine you got mates all though they all look and fit the same its hard to describe its normally about 4 inches long with two wires which go to it but some are the mechanical type which work by vacum and the its the steel rod which controls the excess fuel which jams up the best thing to do is phone your local main dealer or any transit breakers in your area they should no as it,s very common on the earlier type banana engine but i would check the lift pump out as it,s easyier

don,t worry about heater plugs mate it ant got none it,s a direct inection and dosent use them the the best thing is to check to see if the fuel is runnnig back buy changeing the lift pump it,s found on the side of the engine under neath the exhaust manifold if that does,nt cure it change the cold start valve on top of the engine near the injector pump and timeing cover as there prone for siezeing up incold weather thease are the cheapest things and the easyest to check first and most of the time cure it if not your injectorpump could be on the way out
