    Ever been asked that question, funny how a lot of guys that hunt when asked that question seem to get embarrased or start making excuses all depending on what company their talking to, why not nail your colours to the post.     16 years good old age for a working dog my best dog only made it to 5 always sad to part company, but your dog had a good life and obviously a good owner, so look to the future, and enjoy the sport that brings happiness and sorrow in equal proportions all the best . YIS KIC.

    Collie crosses are often accused of having too much brain, not trying and being difficult, there probably the easiest dog to train, been around for a long time and will be around for many years to come. I personally wouldnt have a first cross unless it favoured the greyhound in its build. The lurcher i run now is a beddy grey x collie grey and that mix is perfect for the work i do, ive yet to see a dog with a better nose than a beddy cross. I am sure that a lot of guys slag the collie cross off because they are afraid of owning a dog with a higher IQ than themselves. YIS KIC.

    Ever took a close look at the similarities between lurchers and cheetas for example, when my two are stalking prey its just like watching a cheetah, they only move forward when the prey is not tensed up or on the lookout, my lurcher even has a favourite vantage point in one place i hunt in the shape of a fallen tree. Now ive read loads of theories on the subject of certain cats and dogs evolving fron the same genus but over thousands of years along different lines, example being, what was the purpose of dew claws in dogs.     Ive seen a great many variations in saluki blooded lurchers to say that dog has saluki in its lineage,not totally convinced, beddy crosses seem to throw more regular types. One thing i do know i wouldnt buy a dog of a hoodie looking chav.

    Why not buy the materials yourself and get some reputable subcontractors, can be an expensive buisness just to get to dpc. The easy part would be to build a block shell decent brickie would piss that in a week, that price on the info youve provided seems slightly over the top, but without seeing the drawings its a bit like how long is a piece of string.
