  1. Hah yeah that 44lb'er does sound a bit of a err fishy tale, and gonna be a bit of a hard one to ever prove now, its allot bigger than what anyone else has reliably claimed, is he sure he it wasn't someone's dog he shot, still I shouldn't make fun.
  2. Dont know if anyone has said but on the fieldsports britain tv channel, they were asking people to send in photos and details of the biggest fox you have shot/killed, with a prize of a £95 rivers west jacket to the best story biggest fox. Am I allowed to post the website address? Im going to assume so, I have put the link to the competition is below. http://www.fieldsportschannel.tv/index.php/corporate-site-home/53-britains-biggest-foxes
  3. Well I have read/heard 3 years is common, I have an old (14) retriever who was never really worked, probably slightly too nervy temperament, as well as two non working breeds who just plod about. As far as ground will mostly be woodland and field, but looking at all hpr breeds for a versatile rough shooting gundog.
  4. Hi I cant pm you, as it says you wont/cant accept messages, I'm interested in the Inverness jacket, perhaps you can drop me a pm with contact details, but I was wondering what is the best price you can do it for? Was this brand brand new or has it been worn once or twice, and do you have any photos of the item you are selling (ie not the one you have posted off the web)if this is at all possible, did try and pm you my email for this if it would help I can try again? Regards, Nick.
  5. Hi, I am looking at breeds at the moment and have come across the bracco italiano, and was wondering if anyone on here has experience of working them, I have heard they can take a bit longer to mature and be good gundogs needing more time/input, they seem to have a good nature, but when on a scent trail they tend do disappear and can be hard working keeping them in close.
