    Yeah - got my 7 month 3/4 bred collie greyhound jumping allsorts, wire, wood and stone. He loves it and jumps for fun - need to restrict him now and then immature growth plated and pasterns can get a knock or stressed. Started him off in the hallway at home when he was small. They've got to jump tho eh? No jumping no hunting. I hate to see dogs being lifted over routine obstacles or closing with their quarry then stopping to watch it at one side of the fence as it hightails it to safety. In my opinion concerns over jumping injuries are often used as an excuse for having failed to teach the dog

    Aye - you've got in in one there mate. I'm old enough to remember when there was only 2/3 brands of complete food on the market - Wilson's and Happidog are two I recall. The complete food market is a massive multi-million pound business/rip off. f**k me some of those brands are £45.00 for a 15kg sack!!! I feed Gain 28 and raw beef, chicken, lamb, rabbit, tripe, chicken wings, quarters, lamb ribs, organ meat, liver, kidney, hearts, bones, fish, sardines, mackerel, pasta and brown bread and vegetables, olive oil and/or Cod Liver Oil thrice a week. I buy in bulk and plan things a few days in adv

That's totally ridiculous. It's been there for innoculations, boosters and to have injuries dealt with involving needles and did it die then? No it didn't so that's a crock of shit.

    Perhaps "there not any good dogs about anymore" because folk are too quick to say it ain't no good and it's got to go rather than persevere and accept and put up with a dogs foibles, good and bad points. There's a lot of dogs out there passed from pillar to post with little or no thought as to what affect this has on them. And along the way some halfwit or other will knock out a few litters here and there and pass them off as 'top class workers'. That moondog is why "there not any good dogs about anymore".

    The biggest majority of folk who have failed their dog, f****d it up or just spoilt it in general will still blame the dog mate. Not many will look it in the eye and admit they could have done better.     Cod liver oil thrice a week - that's it for me. I think if they're fed an imaginative diet, exercised, stimulated and rested properly supplements aren't needed.

    No, I wouldn't eat it raw - but thqat's not what humans do is it??? Have you ever seen a wolf standing at a stove with an apron on, a coyote at a cooker or a dingo at the microwave? Why cook it? Raw meat is the biologically most appropriate food for dogs. Can't see the point in cooking it - lot's of extra work.

    To be honest I reckon the average man in the street won't have a problem with the hare coursing sequence that was broadcast the other night. They'll see it for what it was.
