watch yourself its still legal to kill a scot there if hes wearing a kilt Often heard this being said , though its an urban myth...... well i think it is . We where still sentencing people to Death until early 90s , Judge Donned the Black Cap when he was sentencing i kid you not , though they where always later commuted to life by the Home Office ! Murdoch backs whoever looks likely to win a General Election - nothing like being associated with a winner eh? He's backed Labour in the past to each other's mutual benefit... I think this phone tapping story is massive and one that we haven't heard a tenth of yet??? This will roll and roll and there'll be some serious casualties along the way and all probably deserve what's coming to them. Sometimes things are to big for cover ups and I think this will be one of these stories.

My grandparents visited the IOM in the 1965 and sent me a postcard when I was a few months old which I still have. My grandfatther was a miner who couldn't work following a bad pit accident. They never had much money and in those days the compensation was minimal if any. I think they probably visited the island as a holiday of a lifetime sort of thing...they spoke of it often. I will visit one day...looks lovely.

I keep mine in the house nowadays but when they were outside I kept them on straw for years but as foresterj says it'll probably be considered old fashioned. There'll be a much more expensive alternative which'll be popular just because it's costly...

Totally agree there Gnash - pretty poor excuse. Jesus christ when you think of Ali fighting with a broken jaw against Norton and Marciano's horrific 'nose job' against Charles(i think) and there's others...it's a totally disrespectful thing to come out with and a shoddy way to behave. Of course good behaviour and respect aren't things Haye is famed for. He said after Henry Cooper died that this fight was for Cooper - what a joke that is. Wash with Epsom Salts and warm water then add some pottassium permanganate to water and dip the dog's feet twice a day. It will stain white feet brown for a few days but it will fade away. That should do the trick.

Cheers Riohog - I had a Richard Jones dog in the 80s - first class dog. He did the lot - sadly broke his leg badly and had him put down when he was 5 years old just about his prime.

Sensitive yeah no doubt about that. But in what sense are they robotic? i find like they, seem to watch you with every movment (you) make. they Walk 5 yds , turn and look , walk 5yds, turn and look. done it 57 times what would you call that then. as i said when ferreting+lamping brill. but i find there behaviour (unnatural) in a dog, most dogs will keep a eye on you just to make sure you are there, but not this and i think most people would agree with me. Can't say I have ever had that problem???
