Is that why you wanted a choc pat to put over three bitches a year.? That makes you no better than the kc crowd.Money Money Money. That is not the case as I explained i was looking for a choc pat for one of three possible bitches. Now go pick on someone else... Tell me that you havent made a misprint on here. You dont know me and if you did you would know its certainly not about money as ive rescued and paid out large somes of money to rescue and put patterdales right.

I had seen this before but just watched it again, just so glad our dogs are not registered with the KC. but at the end of the day each and everyone of us have to be responsible breeders.

I agree with your statement, very rare for a terrier to get ill but the pedigrees are always sick making vets a lot of money not to mention all the poor conformation the KC have encouraged.

Nothing wrong with normal looking thats healthy lol i just meant by scarred it is usually higher up the line than just a pretty pretty terrier. I also know a guy who hunts in Holland with patterdales and what a different world that is. again enjoyed your post very interesting and informative.

Mine are called, Milly, Molly, Jill, Tuppence, Tess, Bess and The dog is called Spud. They were named for ease of calling if they are all out lol...

have you a picture that helps. I find names come within a few days. lol. Do you want a hard name, a girlyname, a doggy name there are so many scenarios.

My experience of working terrier shows are that the scarred and obviously worked dog get placed well up the line as that is what its about. Granted there are classes for the non working and the good old family class lol... Papers dont really matter a good terrier is a good terrier regardless of paperwork which we can all do without. Good post and interesting read.

Ive no idea, i suspect there will be a history on there web site somewhere. As far as Patterdales go as that is all i know a little about you can register them with the Patterdale terrier club of America but there are very strict rules to abide by. A bit more info here http://ptca.00go.com/ Perhaps some of the American guys can enlighten more. That would be one way to end up with a registered Patterdale.

The KC well,to accept a new breed it takes years and im sure some knowledgeable person on here will know far more than me. Parson Jack Russells are one of the most recent i think to have been accepted by the KC. Personally I dont know why anyone would want to be part of the KC i feel they do more harm than good but thats just my opinion. To much red tape to many rules and regulations. As I understand with a conversation with someone from the KC a patterdale is nothing more than a mongrel and totally unacceptable. So i would imagine thats how it is for all unregistered breeds. Some have more money than others, doesnt mean they gonna do right by the pup. What 300 quid to a hlaf arsed dogman who pulls 50k a year? However even 100 quid is alot to a genuine dogman who barely earns min wage and has a fam to support. dont forget that you also get hard dogs without any bull in them, i know a fela and he had little border crosses,they wernt much bigger than a rabbit but they were mental,too hard for there own good.it comes down to what stuff is in them,bull or not. I have a bitch who is 10ins to the shoulder patt x russell and she is the finder, the digger she only does rabbits and rats not like you guys but she is the toughest of all my 7 terriers and is deffo the boss lol.. SHOW DOGS il do you Shredder i wish i could work my dogs but there you have it im 56 years old hardly likely to take a shovel and dig 15ft down. I have cancer and undergoing chemo therapy. I like to come on here and read about what my dogs and i wish we could do so i do the next best thing. Because i show and breed my dogs doesnt mean the pups dont work, one of them went to Holland hunting far bigger and better than you can do over here. I dont come on here to fall out
