    Easy said do it yourself you can in Ireland there are so many antis and idiots in this country unless you live in a isolated place people are going to ask questions. People are always saying huh thought docking was illegal. Some will always be able to get away with it and i say good luck to them but i wouldnt risk it where i live. Sometimes its better to pay than have the aggravation. I do long for a repeal and hope that anarchy may prevail but i dont think its here just yet.

    Im so glad as i really did want to keep them all, im sad that you dont like my puppies but they will live to dig another day.

    Just a note to all, I was advised by my vet that dogs are becoming immune to advocate and to use stronghold one month and advocate the next.

    Thanks no we arent having bouncy castles or things really its a get together with the people that have had puppies from me over the years and friends making a fun day with it advertised for anyone else that would like to come. BBQ and hopefully dossing around in the sun.... 7 novelty dog classes and terrier lure chasing at the end. So hence dont want to pay a lot as it will end up costing us to have a fun day with friends. Thanks for your help.

    brilliant thanks its always the insurance that causes hassle and spoils the fun. Its the lure racing that is causing the problem. Ill give them a ring.

    Just wondering if anyone can offer any help please we are running a one off family dog show and need to get insurance cover can anyone recommend a good one day cover please. It is for novelty classes and lure racing. Thanks in anticipation.

    Wilf your quite right there they have a dog just like that up at the local stables and he is about 13 years old. Hedz and ye are just a typical guy.

    I have found that vets love to do a repeat prescription but they want to see the dog again and charge you for looking at it and then prescribe the same thing and a little more because its come back again grrrrr... I have found an excellent dog vet in Devon and she is mobile its Mercury vet if anyone down here needs a good vet. http://www.mercuryvets.co.uk/

    Well to you guys who said i would have my hands full rearing 4 pups together you may be quite right there are 3 bitches and one dog. The dog is proving to be very intelligent and amusing. He has watched the rest of the pack get up and get fed in the morning, The pups are in a high sided pen, he thought im joining the rest of the gang and climbed out of the pen. This dog is going to be a hero.

    Probably better to find someone with a working terrier that you could go out with, you cant beat experience. Where abouts are you in the country?

    Have you tried giving the dog the company of another terrier after all they are pack animals. If you have had him as a pup and he has not seen much of pack life he will only have you to show him the way? I am lucky i have7terriers and they live as a pack the pups learn from watching the others and even the pups i have now at 6 weeks old mix in with the other terriers they see what is going on and want to participate in whatever the others are doing. Just a thought that he is just ignorant to the way of the world?
