  1. Well mine is 15 years old it is a post digging spade with a 4 feet of steam pipe in it 6 feet lond very sharp cuts in deep ground two to three feet makes small holes as wide as the rabbit run and is heavy good for cutting ps as wellas this is good to fix fencing posts
  2. have five rabbits in the sink right now going to look did not see any when gutted but it was cold and the guts came out steaming \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\I bet Mr fox likes the guts in the woods under the soil yummy

  4. Out today with new lab Retriever first day out for her got to go in woods with ferret and got five rabbits should have seen her with the rabbits not seen a rabbit in the wild or rabbit she got the hang of it sniff sniff the holes and rabbits
  5. You would have thought so as collars are far easier to make than the finders. Anyone know where I can buy the 4K7 potentiometer which is used as the on off switch and depth guage? the whole ferret finders are baist on avalanche locators! I've opend my mk3 collor and they have it all coverd in a resin sort of stuff! Yes you are right about the avalanche locators but the wave leanth is longer as to snow and ice thereis a cemical that desolves the resin on the sender unit so you can get into it .
  6. One problem with this you could have ferrets two feet and four feet with the same cross over sound two or three the most.

  10. i had alot of land owners say the same to me but i carry introductory letters and a couple of reffrence letters with me from a couple of shoots i already have along with a letter of good charictor reff from a police oficer i know,helps alot i must say Be clean and do all the hunting right if you get anything offer it to the land owner this way there no you are all right and no that it will be ok to let you ferret or have guns have you licence with you or as we do farmers and landowners ring we ring them or they ring us to go on the land if we see any problems we tell them
  11. At the gun shop it is all the new ways to look after rabbits foxes and make money a sliding stop snar with a brake off with the lop being able to come off England doing the same thing

The place were I get my parts from are on holiday you can put a split switch on the box thats two switches a slide resistor works America ebay seen some 4K7 £4 each then p&p
  18. There are a couple of pot resistors (blue trimmers) that you can fiddle with. It's a bit of trial and error. You can ajust the pot carbon track resistors but the balance of the field coil will be right off ie areal I would fit two new pot rotary resistors and solder all points then put new potentionmeter get a old radio and my signal tester and have collar on and a tape in feet on the ground works for me I make my owen circuts boards and build them on copper plate thats paint the tracks then desolve the excess copper.Can you please do me a favour look at the ic chips on the bremin and tell

Is there a training coarse in the scottish borders ie Berwickshire area as with the new law that has just come out you have to go on a day coarse so you no how to set snaring trapping right (public dogs cat children) there is a dog fox taking the baby sheep on the farm we have found sheep small with there heads cut up and stomack open from foxes I no the weather has been bad and food is hard to get for them. He is big and there is vixon and small foxes around advise please. Are when we go out with the lamp you can see at times were the foxes are in a bank near the farm.

  21. think because the hazel is nice and straight its less time consuming mooching around for other pegs. how much are people paying for fibrglass poles now? surely 2 quid a pole with grommets aint a bad price is it? ATB REDEYE Scrutchy and me well we go and cut hazel leave it out in the weather and after it drys over some months ready to go
