ok so i forgot to ask 1 question as my bitch has just come on heat i have been told to wait until the 2nd week of her heat before i put the sire with her is that right..... and if thats right i have planed to take my bitch to the sire on the 18th of this month.... now if she is mated on the 18th can someone plase tell me what would the due date be and how long are they in pup for... cheers revmx

hey guys and girls over the last few months i have been thinking about breeding my first litter of pups it time my main bitch staghound cross whippet is on heat and i have found a really good staghound cross whippet over her now in my eyes they are both really good workers..... now here is my question.. is there anything i need to look out for while my bitch is in pup?? do i need to change her diet??? is there anything special she we need while giving birth/in pup??? what are some of the treats to look out for to kn ow there is something wrong??? thank you for the help

thanks for all the replys i have had her to a vet and the vet has said just to leave it alone for a month or 2 and if its still there he will remove it..... and yes its just a common wart

rabbits hares and foxes all year round its good fun in the last 4 days my runners have caught 5 foxes and about 20 rabbits

hey guys and girls there is something in my pharaoh grey bitches mouths and i dont know what it is... can someone please tell me what it is and should i get her to a vet about it...cheers jesse now its the size of a bean bag ball and it looks like its fury i have never seen something like this...... thanks for the help

Hi Rev as long as you pay the delivery cost's or come to collect the pup no worries. Having said that the pup may not last wrapped up in brown paper and bubble wrap not sure of the flight time. I will stick some pic's up later for you mate or you can always do a search on Google Imagies for the same result as me loading pic's for you. All the best JDD hahaha nice mate i dont think ill be getting pup off you anytime soon not just you but off this site lol

hey guys i live in vic and i have ferrets i use them all the time over summer they will most likely have kits so i dont use them that much and yes snakes are a problem over here i have not seen one yet but they are out and about.. i only use the ferrets with my runners have some really good day out where i am.... cheers rev

hey mate i hunt rabbits,hares and foxes what time off the year you hunt because must be hard for dogs in that heat i hunt most of the year but in the summer i will only hunt of a night when it is a lot cooler but if its still quiet warm ill stay home

hey mate he is only being a pup mate give him time and he as said above at that age you will only want to teach him the basics at that age. he will need to get used to a lead put the lead on him and reward him with treats every time he walks with the lead on ... hope this helps.. cheers rev

thanks guys and girls as of yesterday my stag whip bitch is out of action as she has a deep puncher wound on her back right leg from running it to a stick i think so all my runners will have a rest for the next few weeks.... cheers rev

thanks mate as i really like the whippet im will be trying breed just a bigger whippet really with more stamina but still keep the dogs under 24tts and i want to breed my own dog coz its something i have always wanted to do

hey guy and grils im think i want to breed my own rabbits dog and im thinking i might use my pure whippet over my staghound cross whippet but im little worried that they will throw to the whippet to much what im looking for is a lighting fast an really agile dog that has more stamina and a bigger build than a pure whippet can anyboby tell me what are they chances of the pups being more like a pure whippet now im only new to breeding dogs and this will be my first liter of pups so any advice and help would be greatly appreciated...... cheers rev
