the 2 i have see work they are not earth dogs more bushing type
-
iv seen 2 working Manchester's and 1 of them would be the best fox dog i have ever seen
-
and do you all think we would manage half of these if we had to dig i dont think so....
-
sorry but WTF you cant be serious about releasing foxes thats a good way to be kicked off a farm if the farmer finds you releasing foxes to keep killing his lambs
-
For one my terrier will go In and after 20 min if the fox don't bolt ill call them out and wait another 10 min and 8 out 10 times the fox will bolt in the last 10 min and if it doesn't we will move on to the next den its simple when we hunt over 200000 acres we just do t have time to dig..... In saying that there is probely 2 put of 10 times when we have to dig
-
hell no as i said it takes up to much time digging them out and less time to do other earths ...... over here in oz its easy for me to do 20 earths a day in some of the area i hunt in
-
if mine stay they find them self out of my yard and in someone else's yard i cant stand it
-
hey guys and girls just a quick question what do you all prefur a terrier to stay and be dug or bolt a fox to awaiting guns????? i know i would rather my terriers bolt a fox to the awaiting guns and with good reason to we can get a lot more ground done in a day and if we have to dig it just takes up to much time and that means less foxes we get to shoot.. cheers revmx

hey guys i deicided to go for a walk tonight with my 223 and my terrier pup....... i got to the first paddock and i only walked about 100m when i seen a fox sitting in a gate way only about 60 meters from me so i sat down and steadied the rifle on the bipod and as i did the fox started to walk away so i did a lip squek and the fox stopped and look at me as i took the shot my pup started running down the light to where the fox was and he started to drag it back to me im happy with that this is the fox and full grown vixen... my pup did not drag it very far only about 1m but its a start so i

hey guys and girls just wondering at what age would you expect a terrier to start pushing cover......my pup is just over 4 months now and he has started pushing rabbits from the thick stuff.......witch surprised me as i was not expecting him to start working cover until he was at least 8 months old and as he is going to be a earth dog for foxes i wont let him nere a hole until he is 12 months or older dose that sound right......cheers revmx
-
yes its a pup with to sculps over it.......yeah it sucks we cant have have sound mods as it would be alot better on the old ears..........and yes we can reload and its good with my reloads in my 223 im using 25.5 grains of ar2206h with remington cases cci small rifle primers and nosler 55 grain varmint ballistic tips and my groups are shooting under a inch at 200 meters
-
i shot a fox with that round last night with a 222 and it dropped like a stone at about yards yeah mate i cant fualt them even at 300 paces the make a real mess of rabbits

iv been using a hare/ jack rabbit distress call and a red fox pup distress call they are working for me as the foxes have just had there pups about 8 weeks ago or so and the vixen bark call seems to work well here when the fox are pairing up
