1. hahaha, a youngster catching a youngster, gotta start somewhere mate...an no matter what the size its still a buzz when your dog catches its first bunny........all the best rob
2. So would putting a whippet/grey over my bull x be a good move then? Looking for more speed off the Mark and agility putting a whippet/grey over your bull x can only add speed an agility mate, they might throw 1 or 2 pups that favour the bull x side but thats where the beauty of having the pick of the litter comes into play, dont rush into it an pick the first whippet/grey you see though, theres plenty out there so find one that will suit you and more importantly one that would suit your bull x, happy hunting mate
3.

they look the business mate....theyve all got keen looks on their faces and nice condition....strong pups indeed and a credit to the dam and sire...plus the owners of course....nice workers, small and easy to live with.....Atb Salukibulljp....

thank you - heres the dam and sire. Dam - 1/2 greyhound, 3/8th whippet, 1/8th deerhound. Sire is 3/4 greyhound, 1/4 whippet,
4. Fair play to the lads that have them they are all in good nick. Cadi does look the part though doesn't she - she was a very keen into everything little pup so I hope she does him proud.
5. Thanks for the comments lads - here's the last two. Billy (white dog) first born and is 25.5" so far - much bigger than the rest of the pups! and Poppy little bitch.
6. I currently own and work one of each. Between my two there is no comparison - the smaller whip/grey is faster off the mark and over distance, smarter, alot more stamina, hasn't had as many injuries as the bull x. I would say they are on a par in terms of "heart" They;ve both worked things with teeth (preban) and again the whip/grey was better. I've bred my whip/grey and kept a pup - I'd never breed my bull x - there are top bull x's out there, mines just not one of them. BTW the whip.grey is 7 and the bull x is 3 and the whip/grey still gives its all.
7.

I right click the photo and then open it using Paint - then resize it down to about 500 pixels -save the changes- it will go on ok then there probably are other easier ways to do it, but thats what I do.

8. Really pleased that everyone who had a pup off me has stayed in touch - had a few photos through recenty so thought I'd share them with you. Here is 4 out of the 6 pups All bar one has gone to a working home and all the lads are made up with them - what do you think?? first pics - Cadi second pics - Flint third pics - Fly Last pics - Rogue
9. The Gyp 6 - will they all make it on Sunday??

10. the dog in your avatar is the spit of mine dude, where did you get it? the worst dog i have seen was my mates arselicking mongrol dog, brought it out ferreting to see if it got into it, it saw a few rabbits get killed and wasnt interested, when one got shot however he ran over after some encouragement. and licked the bunnies backside once or twice before coming back looking very pleased with himself. which one mate?the jack russel is from jason jones lines from llanrwst an the lurcher i got from gaerwen anglesea, both been good bitches for me over the years and have earned there kenn
11. Pop line breeding/inbreeding in the search topic box - top right - there's been some good topics on this already done that you might find interesting.
12. I can't compare as I've not been to Heart of Wales one but the Chirk show I've been to a number of times - cracking show - that's where I'll be!
13. There is a lad in Gaerwen, Angelsey North Wales who breeds smashing whippet/greyhounds - where I got my bitch from 7 years ago - I lost touch with him - but if you could find him he'd be worth getting hold of as he's got nice stuff. Depends what you want really if you want a slightly biger or smller dog. Fresh Earth - she's looking well - thought she was onlly 7 months as she's a week older than mine - she's just under 23" with somestill to go - we said there would be a difference but I didn't think it would be quite so much!
14. Champion pup today - made up and very unexpected!

15. My pup had bright blue eyes but they settled into a greeny colour by about 10 weeks.
16. :hmm:That is some serious change of colour!!!
17. thankslads for comments - was just interested - so I guess by about 3 months - they should defo be what ever colour they're going to be??? Coney trappr - thanks for comments - I think she looked a blue/fawn colour at 8-9 weeks (when she was changing) she's gone darker than that again now. ALB
18. Not the worst dog but the most tempremental - Mates Saluki, collie, grey. Some nights it would be magic - other nights it couldn't be arsed - and I really mean that - it literally wouldn't run.
19. Got 4 btiches. Only ever had kick offs between the terrier and the oldest lurcher (in the avatar) it was eventually settled that after me, the lurcher was the top bitch with the terrier second. The terrier was usually quite respectful around the lurcher until one day the lurcher started choking on bone or something - well that little f****r went for her throat and tried to rip her to bits - I had the chuck the terrier until the lurcher recovered!I've not had a kick offf now between them for about 3 years so hopefully thats the end of it. Ironically the bull x lurcher is the bottom of my pack
20. Just out of interest really. Kept a blue pup back out of my bitches litter . At about 9 weeks old she started loosing her colour and has now ended up a reddy/fawny colour. Doesn't bother me the colour thing really but just wondered what was the biggest change in colour you've seen and at what age would you expect the colour to be established so to speak?
21. I feel pretty lucky regarding injuries - she's coming up 7 now and ripped her chest on barbed wire (could happen to any breed) and had to have her front right outer toe off but that's been it. She's got quite tight feet and her fur isn't thin and whippety its got a kind of downy undercoat to it (almost a bit fluffy underneath) so its quite thick - sh'es 42lb so quite a solid bitch. The pup I kept back has the same fur and feet, so fingers crossed.
