  1. Great picture. Well done pup.
  2. But was the cesarian definately age related?? what did your vet say ??? Pernod vet suggested for first litter 6 was too old. Something to do with tighter ligaments in the pelvis?? My bitch was fit/ healthy and in good nick, all surviving pups good size and healthy too.
  3. Terrible to allow any animal to get in that state. Take my hat off to you for stepping in.
  4. My bitch had first litter at 6. Ended with cesarean and loosing 3 of the 9 pups. Bitch recovered fine and looked after pups well though.
  5. My pup showing alot of interest in this young one.
  6. My old bitch cut all her front legby paw this mornin on barbed wire sticking up outa ground. Chasing a bloody squirrel!hoping all dogs recover quick , Its a sickner.
  7. My Mrs had quite a heated argument with a "friend" of hers about hunting. In a nutshell she told her the meat we ate was fresher and had lived a better life than most of the "supermarket shit" she'd ate. Her "friend" actually conceded in the end and agreed the Mrs had enlightened her! At a recent BBQ we did game pie, pigeon pie, rabbit stew, fresh caught trout on bbq etc alot of our friends who came are not into hunting but it was good that they all had a go and said it was nice!
  8. Seen this before - absolute disgrace! These knobs lack understanding and education in our ways. I've was brought up as a little one eating rabbits, pheasants etc what the old man caught My kids are doing the same today and hopefully theirs will too.I've had chickens taken by reds, so I see it is as protecting our own. These pricks are too quick to judge without knowing all the facts, quick to support and spout the propoganda. Boils your piss!
  9. NICE ,,,, ,,,here,s my white and fawn ,,,whip/grey and my black bat lol ,,,whip/grey again love the look of your white and fawn one! Is that Crush? Some smashing dogs on here.

  12. Just a quick walk tonight with my two, took a few pictures.... Gyp (mother - 8 years)
  13. Fantastic - sounds a good one, good on you for taking it on too.
  14. Sorry for your loss. good luck with finding a new pup.
  15. Must be a week for it! similar situation with my bitch, but just the skin removed from the muscle - came back with a big flap of it hanging down. Vet said very lucky coz of where it was. She had 10 stiches which she'll be getting out this fri so hopefully all will be good. Hope your dog comes good too.
  16. Thanks for replies Just an update. Mate has picked up dog, howled in kennels non stop so he brought him in house where he was clean and quiet.. Very timid and unfit which is a shame, hopefully he'll come good. Here he is. He doesnt' respond to his name at all so he's gonna rename him and try to start again with him from scratch. .?
  17. Don't know if you'd class him as a pup now - but 14 months old.
  18. thanks for the replies. I thought if they were hard mouthed there wasn't alot you could do tbh. My bitch pup brings em back live to hand and we do eat them but the lad who's having this one only feeds his rabbits to dogs or ferrets so isn't bothered. I'll try and get a pic up later - its the male double of my bitch - nice dog - hope it comes good.
  19. got an email and photos early December of a fella who had a pup last year, was catching rabbits but was hard mouthed and sounds like its recall was shit too. Anyhow last night hes phoned to say he wants rid and did I want it back - I've not got the room but a lad who had one of my other pups is taking it on. Once its spoiled is there anyway of sorting it back out - I know the recall can be sorted but what about being hard mouthed? Shame really. Sensible advise please?
  20. MY terrier had something which sounds like what your describing but no where near like that - mainly on her back in patches and abit under her stomach.Smelled to high heaven and fur was a bit greasy?? Vet said it was localised dermodectic mange (red mange) it was a kind of mite under the skin that had to be burned out thought the skin pores - wasn't contagous but sepcific to that dog - she has a course of 3 injections each one 10 days apart - 1st one the dogs howled and jumped around like feck - it sorted her out though. Might it be worth a second opinion?Good luck - let us know how you get
