    Had one last pop at the rabbits before xmas. Got 5 but had the same damn problem. My mates ferret bolted 3 rabbits. Only used one of mine, and had to dig it out both times. Was a good day though. Had to finish at 2 cos it was time for work Merry xmas

    My family all had it too. I got away quite lightly compaired to my 2 kids and missus. Some spokesperson from the nhs said that the flu epedemic this year is no worse that other years. Bollocks if you ask me! That many people got it on my street, so its not the snow you have to worry about. Its the frozen rivers of snot!

    I like to use the little snap traps for the small rats that are causing havoc in my shed. They have chewed through everything. And and killed and eaten 5 out of 6 of my quails. I wana still use the snap traps but the little gets keep getting the bait off and triggering the traps. Ive tried allsorts of bait. Doing my head in!

    Me and the wife want to start looking for a dog. But thats where it ends in terms of looking for the same thing. She wants a little cuddly house dog. Small and cute! Whereas i want a working dog. Im into ferreting, and shooting now and again. It would also have to be able come to work with me. Doing security work. No such dog im guessing haha. We will both have meet in the middle somewhere Suggestions please Cheers

    yes the jills are sister. one is bigger than the other. the smaller one has bolted 2 i think. and the big one just locks its jaws lol takes some getting them off when they lock their jaws hahaha

    What do you mean? Call them girls cos i never knew the correct term. Feed them dog food cos thats what the older guys i go out with use. And yes by the time we have gotten the ferret and the rabbit out the ferret has torn chunks out of the rabbits face.

    I feed them lightly before i go. Its strange, because when we use my mates ferrets they bolt the rabbits. And we dont do anything different. They are on the same diet as mine. All i can think is that its their age? Its their first season. Could it be a possibility?

    My 2 girl ferrets are lovely and always find a rabbit down a hole. But i have to dig them out everytime! Its really doing my head in. They both get hold of rabbits and rip em to pieces. Sometimes spending 2 hours digging them out. And its not nice making a mess of my permission. Anyone got any tips? We use a MK3 finder. But we only have one collor Cheers
