Guys I've been toying with the idea of a bird for a while now. With this kind of no holes bared posting it tells a real story both good and bad. It highlight the commitment needed and the rewards when it goes right along with the low when in this case it can go so wrong. For me the most important lesson here though is every creature has a personality as individual as a finger print and the perception of the easier harris is not always as it seems, yet even a trying bird can eventually turn into a winner. I wish you all well in your journey, and can't wait to get on join you in the art of fa

Thanks for the response, they're a big bird but very slight so one on one Hawk hands down, but I want a young bird to put my mark on and didn't want him bullied in his early days...I don't think they will as I said they have enough problems dealing with each other. Well that was my last obstacle so I guess it's just finding the right bird. Cheers

Right I've watched hours of films, I've been on a couple of courses, I've been contemplating the purchase of a hawk now for over a year and come to the firm conclusion that I have the time and ability to own a Hawk!! I've even Decided on a male Harris Hawk; as I have mainly rabbits in our field with the very occasional Pheasant and I can hunt over my Springdore and jack rat. So why have I not purchased said Hawk??? Kites. My available flying land is inundated with Red Kites and I'm not sure if they are going to cause me any issues? I know they are scavenger and an opportunist

Hi Has as anyone got an old quad laying around? I'm in two minds whether we'd really use it on our land, and I'm trying to prove a point before I go out and spend loads of money we don't have, I'd like to start with a trial run to see if it really will be beneficial. Want to spend as little as possible of course, but i'm not unrealistic :-) I don't mind even doing some work on it. What have you?? Cheers

A used BSA Lightning my sons first gun in great condition R/H The BSA Lightning Air Rifle is a spring powered BSA Air Rifle in the BSA Air Rifles range. The BSA Lightning takes the renowned Supersport format to another level, via a features upgrade that adds greatly to its performance in the field. First, the standard barrel is shortened to true carbine length, then fitted with BSA's superb Volumetric silencer. This drastically reduces the Lightning's muzzle blast while also providing a comfortable cocking grip. Next, the rifle is fitted with a full-specification, Maxi-Grip scope rail,
