    with mine i introduced them on neutral ground,,,,,they had little scuffles and a few squeaks,,,,,but let em go as long as you dont get the pooing,,or signs of blood...they just are sorting out the pecking order mate..i recently got a new hob,,in the last two weeks,,,,my 3 girls are spayed and older than him,,,,,,hes been castrated about 6 weeks ago and hes young i think,,hes far more playful than them,,,,,he has the odd run in with my more laid back jill but they soon part,,,,,,,,at first my laid back jill slept on her own when we got him,,but shes ok now.they all sleep together now in the one

    yea il take him back if it carries on mate.....dont want to though,,he was right bad biter yesterday,,,,now as if by magic i can pick him up n stroke him,,hes changed overnight totally,,,,,dont ask why.......................as for the jill he dont get on with,,she slept seperate last night i think,,but i put more bedding in the hammock and all 3 girls are in it together,,,,as for the hob......hes in the bedbox alone,,,,but im happy if they stay like that,,,,,,,,as long as the jill that dont get on with him dont get left out its ok,gonna give it a few more days n see how it pans out,,hope fully

    hes fully balls off castrated....hes been here one night so far,,,,,,he plays with 2 of the jills ,hes rough though,,,,,,,,,the other jill seems to wanna scruff him and they end up fighting briefly,,then she runs away from him,,she didnt seem herself this morning,,,,,,,my mrs said she came out to the shed and she was in the hammock on her own,dunno if she had been there all night or what,,,,,,,,the others were in the bed.......but yesterday they seemed to sleep ok together,,,,,,i dont want him stressing her out but on the other hand i dont wanna get ridda him just yet as they may settle down,,

    got a new hob today from a animal rescue centre,,he was handed in as a stray,,,,im unsure of his age ,,i think hes only a youngun,,,,,hes been castrated and microchipped by the rescue centre .it was on sept 12th he was done,,,,i know that because i have some vets documentation on him,,,,,,,i introduced him to my 3 jills in neutral ground and it went ok,,my jills have all been spayed,,,,,,,,he seems to have an issue with one jill in particular,,she seems to try to scruff him and they end up fighting for a few seconds,,,,,,,the jills are three and a half,,,,,,,im wondering could he still be horm

    ,,,,,,,some can do it theirself tug,,but others im sure cant bring themselves to do it mate,,id personally not do it,,,,,not avin a pop at you and your advice is probably sound for those a bit harder to the world of ferrets,,,,but no doubt the other softer ones of us couldnt bring themselves to do it..me included

    I had a castrated hob who mated or at least tried to mate jills, I think it was stabs who had a castrated dog which still tied with his bitch when she was in season too. ............................my jills are spayed though so he shouldnt sense they are in season coz they dont come into season,,,,,,,hes castrated so im assuming he will have no testosterone or urge to mate,,,am i right? please correct me if im wrong,,cheers in advance,,dave

    had all 3 of my girls spayed by the same vet,,,,,the one round our way was 28 i think,,,,,,,but paid 48 each to get em done at the vet near to harrietsham ferret rescue,,,,,,they use her all the time,,,shes done an excellent job on my 3,,,,,,,,id rather pay the extra for peice of mind mate,,,,than have an inexperienced one do it and lose one during or after the op,,,,,,picking up a castrated hob 2 moro from another rescue near home,,,,,hes been done in the last 3 days,,,,,that way i can have all mine live together in peace all year round with no worries of him trying to shag em every time hes

    jetwash mine out once a fortnight but scrape the crap out twice daily,,,,,,,,,,,,,,then spray disinfectant the shit corners,,{which is every corner} they can crap for england my 3 girls..................................mine are in a 6.5 ft x 8 ft shed with 3 levels......

    30 quid,,,,,,40 quid.......or free of charge,,,,,,at the end of the day,,,,,if theyre free theyre disposable as some people may think...thats no reason to knock the poor little stinker on the head,,,,,,at the end of the day,,its worked its little heart out for ya,,,,,,so respect it and treat it decent,,,,,,but people shouldn go gettin one on impulse until they know wats fully involved,,,,,,,i dont think pet shops selling them are a good idea,,,,,,,if you want one,,theres plenty in rescues all over the place,,,,,and on here and other forums........just make sure its looked after properly,,,,,,,
