most dogs will work the lamp to a certain level speaking from exsperince with me own dog my daytime dog will lamp but no were near as good as me lamping bitch hes keen enough and fast enough just seems to lack brains on the lamp. but other wise on daytime stuff seems to have brains in bundels but iv never rated cousing dogs on the lamp they were bred for somethig else if they were that good at lamping more people would use them for that purpose

Its common kmowledge that deerhounds have a shorter working life than other crosses. Name me one aspect of lurcher work where they excel over other other types .As stated earlier they need to be mixed with more than just greyhound. The same can be said about most crosses; name me one aspect of Lurcher work that a collie or beddy or whippet cross excel over other crosses ? You obviously doon't like Deer crosses, thats your perogative. Many others swear by them. Cheers. every body has a dog that suits there needs each 2 there own all have up and downsides
