hey all,
i am new to shotgun shooting and have recently been trying out different shotguns at clay pigeon clubs. i have been a few times now and im still learning the basics of it however have had a few lessons and have been applying what i was taught.
the first time i went i hit 7 out of 25 clays, i didnt expect anything more as it was a first go. i used a over and under.
then i had a lesson with a semi auto and pretty much hit every clay apart from a few that got away, i was happy with the results.
a week later i went again but this time wanted to try an over/under again (as this
what weather were you in?
it happens sometime's that the rounds have factory faults. something like 1 in every 300 rounds made is faulty. it could have got damp or wet inside which would have stopped the powder igniting.
we call it dead man's click in the army. happens often.
if i misunderstood the post and the round actually fired and got stuck then this list is all i can think of (not an armourer so cant be sure but this seems the most obvious ones.)
1- blocked muzzle (rock/mud)
2- extreme weather caused the barrel to shrink or round to expand
3- manufacturer fault
4- roun
hey mate,
i have an AA s410 too and i had problems with it too (cocking handle, air leak, and stiff magazene). wasnt impressed considering i had bought it from new and it was supposed to be a reliable weapon
however overlooking all the faults ....its an amazing weapon and does the job.
my air leak was from the working parts (magazene area). it sorted itself out after i took it apart a few times. still dont know what was the prob

we went out once in quite heavy rain, there were quite a few bunnies out, they didnt seem to mind, although with the lamp, visiblilty was poor. oh and the rust seemed to find its way everywhere, even after being heavily oiled!

hey ,
well after watching FESTA's video on making home made ghillie suits and an easy week at work, i decided to give it a shot myself.
i cut up a load of old DPM and MTP combats and knotted them onto a boiler suit.
i then got some SCRIM netting aswell as green mosquito dome netting, and sandbags and added them on for a disrupted effect.
i then got a riot under-helmet balacaver and did the same to that.
thisd is the finished look. hope you like it :
