  1. hey, me and my friend have permission on land that is a hotspot for rabbits and other vermin. we have been hunting there with great sucess over the past month and have just been given permission for building a hunting platform. this all started with a picture on a magazene and we developed it into something far better. its about 17 foot up a tree and has only cost approx £120 to make. as of yet we have been hunting in static locations and stalking but we have noticed a pattern in rabbit activity in the area we have built it. the view from the top of it is amazing. we have great
  2. hey ok so i just bought a Air Arms S410 literally 3 weeks ago brand new. i love the rifle and it has done me proud with numerous kills and amazing acuracy already. however a week ago the cocking handle stiffened up. it has had less than 200 pelets through it and is band new. it cocks back well, and the magazene works properly, however when you push the cocking handle forward it goes smoothly until the last centimeter at which point it get really stiff. i am using air arms pelets that fit, so the feed isnt the problem, i brought it to the shop to swap magazenes and it still happen
  3. ok so i've narrowed it down to two rifles, well 3 actually but one is well out of my price range. the AIR ARMS S410 and the BSA R10.... i've heard amazing reviews for the air arms however i seem to have gone to the dark side. i love the BSA R10, however all reviews tell me not to toouch it with a barge pole due to its unreliability. i like the air arms s410 however i'm not too queen on the thin barrel. so here's the deal... BSA R10 looks the part and is aparrently just as good as the air arms however the reviews are putting me off. and the AIR ARMS S410 doesnt quite feel

  6. hi everyone this is a follow up of my last blog about the best spring rifles to get. i went to my local gun shop last night and had a talk to them about pcp rifles as i wasn't too knolegable on them, and in the space of 15 minutes have fallen in love with them. the question is pretty much the same, what are the best pcp's to buy for around 500-600 pounds? i'm looking for an accurate and powerful .177 rifle, with a reasonable amount of shots before a re-fil is needed and has (apopolgies for the term as i have forgot the actual word) a 10 pellet magazine or more. i have seen quite a
