Cheers, im definatley not going to get the scope from abroad, im gunna try the bi pod though, to much of a price difference and not as much risk of faults as there would be in gettin a scope, ramsbottoms for the scope and its looking like hong kong for the bi pod

Think im going to get my scope from ramsbottoms, to much of a risk for what its costing, to buy it from abroad, just to lose my cash or for it to be a cheap replica, i was thinking more of the bi pod, £17 posted and its identical to the deben one, which is going for around £40/50 over here, £17 isnt going to break the bank, but the scope im getting is £105 and i dare'nt take a chance, but for £17 i just might take a gamble

Just wondering if any of you lads have ever bought shooting stuff off ebay from other countries, i.e Hong kong/china?? Looking at the prices compared to our prices here, its a big difference. But im having trouble letting myself take the risk of never recieving the product and losing my money, im looking at scopes and bi pods, if anybody has any experience of buying foreign please can you recommend sellers to me that you have had a good result from, cheers in advance

Top marks Davey and the other lads for the info and many thanks . I must admit I never knew Bipods came in so many lengths shapes and sizes! can't wait now for mine to arrive so I can have a play . atb Jasp this is a handy peice of kit Millsy! its called a "Dr Bob" and clamps round the bottle which you can secure your Bipod, sling or whatever too, The only resevation I have had is if its adding strain onto the bottle with the added weight and perhaps a sling attached too? Jasp Cheers jasp, will i get one on ebay or............?

How would i fit one to the super 10 lads?? Would i have to drill the stock?? Im guessing it would be best to take the action out of the stock first incase you drilled to far That would be a sickener!! lol Would be interesting to see how people have attached theirs, if anybody fancies putting a few photos on,

Id go up to where it is you have permission and leave the gun at home, sit about 50 or so yards down wind of the main area of activity from the rabbits, and watch, watch and then watch some more, this will give you a good idea of the numbers, runs they use and how close you can get to them without spooking them, then next time take the rifle and you have a better chance of bagging a few Also this would be a good chance to work out ranges, pick some markers out where the burrows and diggings are and then count the distance from where you will be sitting when you shoot, this will let you know

Just goes to show, how a little of your time can pay off

Cheers mate, my dad used to work for a dairy and he would go to farms to get milk samples from the farmers to do tests on, thats how i got most of my shoots, but this one i got myself, i had been fishing at woodlands and when i was leaving there was a bloke struggling at the side of the road to get straps over a trailer of hay, he was having a nightmare so i pulled over and gave him a hand, got talking and the rest is history, kindness pays

Were meant to have a shit load this weekend, sods law as I'm off now till the New Year.Would love to go out in the morning but I don't think it will happen. You never know bud, it started up here for about an hour, but the ground was wet so it diddnt lay, first time in 2 weeks ive been able to see tarmac lol

Right, yeah they are Big and I can imagine the sound of the crack Not as big as a Goose and they are big buggers, but a pellet to the noggin works well on them as well SPA for common sense and a nice job done well Phantom Cheers mate It did kick for a good 30seconds or so, i even pulled the bolt back ready to take a second shot, but as i did it sort of slumped down and i knew it was gone, Felt strange and slightly "guilty" for want of a better word, i couldnt of asked for a better placed shot though, maybe the wierd feeling of killing it was because id never shot one before, B

Behind and slightly above its eye phantom, The pictures were of its right side, it was shot on the left, i meant to take a close up aswell DOH!! There was no sign of the exit of the pellet, guess they have hard heads?? you should of heard the "thump" from the magnum as it struck. Never shot one before and they are big birds so i thought the head shot would be best, not much chance of gettin through to its heart or lungs because of the size of the thing lol

If only boro football club could shoot like me ehh lol cheers bud

Fancied a trip out today to fully test me new BSA Super10 MK2 after not seeing much on its maiden voyage, Left the house at 8am for the 45min drive, Flask of hot tea in tow Got to the drive up to the farm and doves where as usual scattering everywhere, aswell as feral pigeons. Farmer was out so i parked up and had a walk to find somewhere to check my zero, still spot on so lets see where the pigeons and doves are playing. They seemed to be all over and not settling in any particular spot, the grain store is normally a good bet for a few so i snuck in the back way. Managed a few
