    Watched a programme on recently called Super mole,showed what a mole did underground when confronting gas No wonder aluminium phosphide is hit and miss Just taken another job of someone using this Caught fourteen moles already in an area that had previously been treated remains of the tablets were still visible.

    Like to say a big thank You for everyone who came and made the show a big success once again In particular The Terrier Judge Mr Roy Evans from Mountain Ash & Amanda Harrion Lurcher Judge from Aberystwyth Good to see so many faces old and new and some very fast dogs will put up some video on You tube after I charge my battery

    We have a new sponsor for this Years shows Dr Dolitles foods There will be a bag of food for Terrier champ & Puppy Champ Lurcher Champ & Puppy champ Couring Champ & Racing Champ Whippet Champ At the show there will be working dog for sale at £8.00 a bag I cant comment on I havent personally used it yet but the mix sounds good and a lot of the working sheepdog boys around here are buying it. Also each of the above will have a framed photo along with Trophy

    Cut the grass on the track yesterday and chain harrowed it,will put the fence up tommorow,and check out the new photo finishing system,will post a photo.

    Got Two more farms to finish just picked another new one yesterday,dry weather is hard going on the shovel,but at least Your boots are not covered in mud or your so cold you can set the traps

    Thanks for that all that will be at this Years game fair along with a catapult maker Range and competition for adult and Youth Merthyr hunting and Fishing has only shut their shop they are still going but trading from home and shows,they will be at the May show suppoting us as always

    Gates open at 9am Booking for the Simulated Coursing at 10.30am Coursing will start 32 Dog stake 11.30am Showing indoors will start after coursing is completed approx 13.00 am Racing after the show ends There will be Trade stands Hot food Bar Bouncy castle for the kids and there will be an event photographer on site This will be the first qualifier for the Heart of Wales Whippet Champion of Champions to be held at The October Show

    We have no option Scooter rally this weekend,Motorbike rally weekend after,and next door have events on at other weekend,The problem with putting a show on your always going to clash with someone even in October now

    It is in all walks of life some You feel priveleged to have made their aquaintance Others the first words they speak You think what a wanker and You wouldnt trust them if they were whistling And that accounts for work dog shows life in general not just on here The difference is face to face people are shall we say a little less braver On the internet they become Joe Calzaghe

    You dont have to live in a shit hole to get a rat in your house It doesnt help prevent a rat infestation if Your house is a shit hole,I have being doing this job for a little while now, and have seen rats in places that were spotless,however when the home is untidy dirty or cluttered it is a lot harder to spot signs of them.

    Biggest load of codswallop Ive ever heard the ammount of times someone said that to me over the Years I would just look at them and smile,wouldnt have swapped him for five Black blue fawn or any colour dogs,the used to call him the white shark he very rarely missed,when he did I was shocked. Makes a hell of difference when you have got a million candle watt lamp and a darker coloured dog mind CCI12022009_00000.bmp

    Once again this Year there will be event photographer at all the shows,taking pictures of all the coursing showing and racing.

    I wouldnt bother with a cage trap at this time of the Year especially for old clever foxes I would bait him You know what time he is about put the bait out a couple of hours before you look to get into position
