  2. Once had a call on a Monday morning for a rat in an attic still half cut from a really good session sunday afternoon and night, arrived and this house to be met by a terrified good looking bird, dont worry love will soon sort him says I in my best superhero voice up to the landing I go with her trailing behind me like a lost lamb, the loft ladder was diectly outside her bedroom door,I go up the ladder with my pestie bag and torch, open the loft which was a hell of a low roof, but onward I crawl through the roof space looking for evidence with my trusty torch,I also was dressed in my at the time red
  3. Yes there will be a bull greyhound one of my favourites it has attracted some cracking dogs to the game fair I hope this will be the same photo is of this years bull cross champion
  4. Lightforce had mine seven years no problem except change the bulb once Positives light quiet switch easy to maintain if needed Negative the filter is noisy and awkward to take off and put on

  6. Good points many wise words Iam toying with this idea cant turn it down if the customer decides really good customer If someone else does it I could lose a shit load of work. Using a ladder place either a camoed Kania or a bird box type trapping box so that Joe Public would have to look up at least fifteen feet up in the air ,if the box was constructed so that the body of the tree rat was inside,no one would see anything ,and going along as sugested early in the morning .
  7. May Have they opportunity to quote for some work for squirell control in a public park, the usuall problems regular public access with dogs,I looked at either attaching Kania traps up trees with access only with laddders or making a trapping box for fenns, open to all sugestions on this one any ideas please.
  8. The collars do work speaking from a lot of experience try the long lead version first though,I normally take a dog into a field with a fare length of rope walk him through or as close as until you get a reaction yank him back and whack him not on the head with a rolled up newspaper it wont hurt him the noise will scare him ,do this a couple of times over the period of a couple of wekks lengthing the rope each time, try to use older sheep or tups the wont run like lambs will Did he chase lambs recently ???????? what did he chase
  9. Some photos from the Heart of Wales Game fair in August

  11. except whelping bitches I never put bedding under our dogs their kennels are constructed from marine ply and are wind resistant or draughtproof, last dog we lost was fourteen, havent had to treat fleas on any of our dogs for years. Normally start by using a good pallet as a base and the work up from there Everyones opinions differ but I find mine are healthier outside without bedding

  14. What can I say Si supprisingly fast, highly inteligent ,hunts like a bloodhound . I have started lamping quietly which should be expected for her age her first night two runs one rabbit retreived to hand, three nights later four runs two rabbits all her quarry has been up and going no squaters or young rabbits, the other late afternoon crow taken in mid flight about four feet, and a rabbit, chuffed to beans,I would say her true test will come in her second season.

  19. Being a landowner I would be the last one to advocate trespass or poaching,However big difference in somebody coursing your deer rabbit or hare stock, than your pain in the arse rat infestation, dont know the whole story to be fair to the game keeper but talk about shitting on someone for doing you a favour. Are the Police going to prosecute the land owner for not controlling the vermin on his land now ????? The World or this country has gone mad
