  1. my lad had the 22 the ricochet was bad how he's got a 17 never had a problem with it even our fao said the 17 is safer, yeah you get the crack when fired but I would sooner have that than the ricochet , different forces have different views but some would not no one end from the other, I will give our fao his due is his a shooter and I think that makes all the diffrence

  7. put the new scope on and what a pain, the scope is bril zeroed it in a 50yds then tried it out to 70 yds could not it the target it was a mile out, scratching my head, I striped it down again got the sprit level and found that the mounts were leaning to the left reversed them and it lent to the right, so went on you tube and found that this is a problem with cz 452 with this particular scope mounts they recommend bkl mounts to solve it as they are a solid mount and have no clapping plate has the clapping plate pulls it over to one side or the other lesson learnt don't buy cheap shit. so if

  10. can any of you chaps recommend a scope for night shooting with a 17 hmr at the moment I have a hawke nite eye 3-9x50 its sound day time I can hit the target at 120 140 yds every time but when it come to shooting at night I tend to miss them at 80yds, has I don't seam to get a good clear image.

  13. horses for courses, depends on what ground you run your dog on i would say rough ground button feet less chance of breaking toe, longer feet that spread for flat land like golf courses get better for turning.

  16. went for a mooch with a couple of mates and the pack, it was hard going getting through the snow drifts but turned out to be a good couple of hours.
