went out this evening to set the 6.5x50 photon up with the new mounts which arrived today well pleased (sportsmatch atp66 fully adjustable) only had to adjust the elevation on the photon by +2 all of the adjustments were done on the mounts if i had the time i could of got it bang on with out adjusting the photon, put 4 shots in target the size of a 10p piece at 120 yds then it started to rain so called it a day. Waiting for the doubler to arrive then back to zeroing don't think this will be a problem with these mounts still plenty of adjustment left well worth the money

finally licence came today can stock up with ammunition now, never received a section 7 even after requesting one at least i am all legal now

what mounts are you chaps using to mount your photon on your rimfire, just about got mine zeroed in using cheap hawke ones but not happy with them ? thinking of getting bkl what do you recon ?

Still not had the bugger seen him twice now, would not stand still to get a shot off, and still no sign of him going in the trap, he is one cunning fox its just a matter of time.This is one of the hardest foxes i have every tried to shoot or trap

yeah and don't bring zombies into the conversation i read that some one said they are getting ready for the zombie apocalypse ticket refused i wonder why. i would of had my cabinet in place before they came, would of saved time. hi jok got to agree mate, my missus keeps a few hens asked her if i could have one of them for bait divorce was mentioned that was a bad idea. nobody will part with them. i am not going to buy one have you seen the price of them lol

Borrowed the trap of a friend its years old but stood the test of time. first i had it set close to the house but i have caught all of their 3 dogs and 2 of their cats in it. So i move further away and asked them to keep the dogs away. This fox will walk past the dog run has if they are not there. He is hard faced and cunning probably watching while i sit there with the rifle

Been after a fox that has been taking chickens, i have sat out with the rifle at the time it as been seen with no joy, have had a trap set for 3 weeks now, have baited it with rabbit, pigeon until its as been eaten away with maggots, and scattered bits of cat food sardines around the area. Not seen it myself or it would of come to the end of its life Have set it up along the fence line at the side of out building so its does not look to out of place. The trap is a home made one and as caught just over foxes in it. It is 8' long so it is big enough. Can any of you give me any more tips whi

i have e-mail them and requested a section 7 along with my son, has you chaps say cover your arse, they have had 9 weeks to get a new ticket sorted, and in this world you can not trust anybody only yourself, cheers for your replies

Just rang them up again they said that it could take up to 4 weeks to issue, and that it is the same all over the country, i told them that by not having a licence i am breaking the law, they said it would be them that took me to court but they would not have a leg to stand on because it is their fault that they are behind on issuing licences, they assured me that i will be ok ,i asked about a section 7 and if i want one i would have to e-mail them to request one

Don't lose any sleep, it's only 5 years, the length of a FAC/SGC, and you know how quickly that goes...and when you get out you won't have any future worries about Firearms either, you will be banned for life. cheers Decker after thinking about it I thought s*d it if I get sent down that would be 5 years not paying council tax, tax on my wages, I would get free meals free accommodation and a roof over my head and I could become a armchair hunter they seem to get everything else inside and by the time I get out I would be at retirement age

Its the old chestnut which has been round more times than I can remember. Some regions say not to worry, others refuse a temporary certificate (others grant them) and then others tell you to lodge guns with a RFD as you are currently looking at a 5 year jail term for illegal possession of firearms! Take you pick! thanks for the replies that is going to help me sleep at night

hi all my licence is up for renewal, well it ran out on the 2nd June still not received my new one, all monies paid and received conformation, rang them end of may they said they have a back log and not to worry, has anybody else had this happen to them ??? cheers
