  5. they don't always cull them it could be some ones good racer, it like in the dog world you get the good dog men then you get the tossers that give the sport a bad name.
  6. it is flown out mate, i dowt it will get home, you should of taken it home and fed it up for a week and then released it or even reported it to the owner if it was wing stamped, they have had a bad season racing with all the bad weather around a lot of good birds missing, when you can pick them up in the open their chances of getting home are rare, you would of been kinder culling it. x pigeon fancier 20 years in the sport
  7. i agree with u lads about not hunting in the summer it was a ONE OFF vet needed to see her under 12 hour after a good work out , and i no i don't have to explain myself to you, and to say they are easy because of long grass, they were caught on golf course and on freshly cutfields, you carn't see the buggers in the long grass anyway
  8. next time i will put a pic up of the guts instead of the rabbits you can see for yourself.
  9. not one of them in kindle all 3/4 grown and no milky does
  10. if you have just had him you should bond with him first keep him on the lead and only let him off in a enclosed area, you have got to find out what makes him tick, slowly does it
  11. i have just had land cleared and all they said was it was cleared for .22 i belive its just rimfire, could be wrong ?

  17. if it was me i would be putting her to something of simular breeding as her but with more of the desired attribute you require i/e more whippit or grey in it. yes thats the lines i was thinking but more along the line of pure greyhound what do you think you will be gaining by using a pure greyhound as opposed to another lurcher with the attributes your after, you have to remember by using a pure greyhound you add all the greyhound traites good and bad not just the speed you are after. would like to get that head strong bit out, that comes from the bull in her.

  19. thanks for you answer and yes i have thought about it hard she is still young i know but she has proved to me that she is worth breeding off at some time in the future if has you say i can find good homes for the pups yes i can find homes for some if not all of them but you never know how many they will have and also finding the right stud to put in to her to produce good offspring, i would not put another breed into her only what in there now thats why i thought pure greyhound like most have surgested.
  20. she is three and a half years old 23" tts smooth coat, she has the brains, but can be a bit head strong at times, she will run all night her pray drive is 110%, speed ok but wished she had a little more, brings back to hand but is hard mouthed will retrive most things when shot or caught. got a good nose. i was thinking pure greyhound to try and keep the height and put a bit more speed into the pups ? which most of you are in agreement with
  21. i agree mate but why don't they ask these questions instead of jumping on the bang wagon, after all if you don't ask you don't get gis £50 no sorry mate but thanks for asking
