Ive got to dogs pochers pocket. A dog 4 years old and a bitch coming up 2 years old. Both good honests dogs that dont struggle catching. I would personally would recommend them. Do you know dam or sire of pup? Atb strongbow

Ive got a 20 month old beddy whip grey deer, she is showing alot of potential, very obident, 100% round stock and catching very well, the problem iv got is ive got various little bits of permission, but she knows them like the back of her paw. Cheers for reply pal, uve said what i thinking really, just annoying when uve had a natural retriever live to hand for 2 seasons now im picking up a dead rabbit 20 yards away. Hopefully get him back on dummy, and plenty of runs on his own and things will come good again, because apart from that hes a good capable dog. Alb strogbow.

My 4 year old beddy whip grey, used to retreive live to hand, hes had a few rabbits through the summer and has bin hard mouthed and not retreived them. I thought go back to basics and hopefully when hes had a few on lamp things would come good again. Well they he has not, only is he not retrieving, he has also gone hard mouthed. Has this happened to anyone before? And did things come good in the end? cheers.

I use my dogs for abit of everything, love taking them out lamping,equally love a good mooch about.

I was talking to someone today,that said when he was really keen into lamping lamping, he use to only use his dogs for that purpose, no ferreting, not a lot of free running in day light, no mooching about just 100% lamping. Did or does anyone still have an out an out lamping dog? If so do you think it makes alot of difference to working abilty? Atb strongbow
