  5. Have you ever had one? I did and it was one of the best dogs I've ever had. It was not scared of anything and calm. Did great with the kids. In fact my cat had kittens and went out a window and couldn't get back in when I wasn't home. When I showed up the screen on one of the windows was busted in, my hybrid had jumped through the window because he heard the kittens crying. I walked in to see him laying with them trying to nurse off of him. Sounds aggressive to me. Have you been on the cooking sherry or something? No, why you offering? He was a great dog and I miss him terribly.
  6. second that mate she don't shut up and obviously knows jack but has alot to say.
  7. no meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  8. Don't be silly mate, if your lad has done everything right buy it there's no reason why not, as the saying goes its not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog. And whippets make up for size with heart imo.
  9. check this thread out mate http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/180694-wish-she-was-older/

  12. shame i'm not closer pal, would love night out with you and the pup, would be very interesting to see it catch a rabbit so young, also mate i can keep up with my pup about 14 weeks old but one thing is for sure i am no where near as fast as a rabbit. i got to admit i am i doubter, but each to there own. is there anyone on this site, that lives in Shropshire, that don't know malc1 that will go with him when its about 12weeks old to witness it catch a rabbit on the lamp?

  15. youve been out with 3/4 dogs who started that age.....did they look f****d to you? No they are excellent dogs. I agree fully with taking young dogs out to learn and experiance, watch older dogs and get a feel. There is a lot to learn. But just dont think i would go out lamping with just a 12 week old pup and a lamp and plan to run game. I guess it also depends on the individual dog. Thats where common sence comes into it.....your not going to catch anything with just a 12 weeks old pup ....but they do learn going out with older dogs taking them out young ,even if its just getting
  16. hope its not to little to late. good luck clearing the idiots, i wreckon buy time you finished there will be about 20% of members left.
  17. That's a nice looking dog you've got. I'm keeping mine on lead and she watches her mum work. I will only be ferreting so not into the lamp but plenty of grown dogs are being injured and they know what they are doing. I think it would be better to give it some easy experience and give it time to mature. You're going to have the pup a long time so there's no rush. Best of luck whater you decide. that dog was started at 3 and a half months old does he look bad in any way so how many was he catching back then
  18. just of to take the little fella to have a rugby match with the under 18's. idiots
