  1. Thanks for the honest reply, it was my feeling that they were a little underpowered, the fuel consumption is also poor by the look of things ! I think he was told he would get 45.. which is a big difference !! Does anyone have any suggestions for other small 4x4's that might be worth considering, and would be an improvement of the lack lustre stat's for the Terios ??
  2. A friend of mine is very keen on buying a 4x4 Daihatsu Terios jeep, Does anyone have any experience of these vehicles ? I assume that they are similar in capability to the Suzuki Jimny's ? He does a bit of ferreting, a rough shooting. And wants one of these just to get to and from his grounds. There is no need for anything bigger, more elaborate, or more capable off road as most of the ground is really just a few small wooded tracks in and around gentle farmland. If anyone has experience of these vehicles, it would be appreciated.
  3. Loop size looks good, one suggestion would be watch how far over the run your loop reaches, the kill area of your snare should be near centre of the beat to catch under the chin... best of luck, but as the others say, watch where you are setting them.
  4. Yep, Pat at Bridport Nets is a good un to deal with... Always does me a good deal..
  5. Just remember that you will also need to make allowance for your tied in bagging, so you won't get 125 yds of whatever net sizes you decide to break them down into You may get a 50yd and 25yd but thats going to be pushing it, if your going to do it properly..
  6. I wouldn't take too much notice of that, just too many shite owners.. so easy to blame the dog, when a owner/trainer is incompetent, you know the saying "Bad workmen etc etc". I have a Mike Brown bitch, f*cking excellent, hardy, gutsy, and very trainable.

  20. Both can be stir fried.. however for best results marinade the rabbit in a slightly spicey or zesty type marinade. Cut into strips and leave in marinade overnight. Remember, to always stir fry both meats in a "very" hot pan, a good indication is when the small amount of oil starts to smoke, then place in the meat (flash fry) once meat is done to your liking, remove from pan and set aside, reheat the pan to a high temp, place in whatever veg you are having with the stir fry eg, baby corn, peppers, onion , mushroom, etc.. fry until it's to your liking, remove and pour on top of your meat, now
  21. A bagged fox ! you do surprise me...
