  1. Great pics those and a great caption on this one as well. Thanks for posting.
  2. If anyone is having trouble with the layout of the site on iPad , you have to change the theme to fixed width ...found at the very bottom left of the page.
  3. A credit to his profession. No scandal , diving, cheating from this lad. One of the best midfielders of all time...plus he had the nasty streak when required. A shining light of working class hope among the modern day arsehole celebrity footballers. From a Leeds fan.
  4. hope so, just out of interest why weren't you planning on working her? its a beltin looking pup by the way! I don't participate Boyo due to health reasons , I have great memories of rabbitting as a kid , my dad was a collier and had us out on a regular basis with his dogs and ferrets. I just enjoy the countryside these days, getting a dog is a great reason to get out and about on a regular basis with the family....I'm fully aware that she will probably revert to type when she sees a likely prey ...actually i'm looking forwards to it. I've held off getting a dog for a while as my lad had
  5. Thanks for that Boyo , it's bound to happen ....expect me on here asking for advice when it does
  6. I understand and fully expected your comments ...and of course your all correct. She has a great make up to do a job and it is a shame that she wont graft. However , i've always promised myself a Lurcher since my old dad had them 30 odd years ago. Sorry to disappoint you guys.
  7. I have no doubt that she would make a decent worker , however my interest in the game these days is just reading about it and visiting shows. We had lurchers when i was a kid , the opportunity came to buy one and she will be my walking companion for the next dozen or so years.
  8. She's a pet , although no doubt she'll be after many a bunny around here when we start her walks. She will be at a show or two.
  9. Yes mate that's correct. She's looking ok now but she was the runt and a little under developed compared to her siblings. Shes coming on nicely.
  10. 12 weeks old , Half Bedlington , quarter Greyhound , quarter Wheaten. Thanks for looking.

Don't blame these two for making a few quid .....But i blame very much that utter c**t Simon Cowell. This closet Gay should be tortured very slowly in public and be made to say sorry for inflicting the same old dross on us week in week out ......Everyone of the judges on the X Factor should be shot . This pile of shit is conning the public into believing that they are entertaining and millions of silly fuckers every week fall for it. Then there's that other c**t ...Cowell's mate Piers Morgan , on the Cowell payroll and even dresses the same .....makes out he's a serious interviewer aka Park
  13. Thanks for your replies ....we have looked at suitable breeds and we have seen that Poodles should be the answer.....only thing is ....no offence to Poodles or Poodle owners but i will not bother if this is my only option. I was brought up in a household with working dogs , its just a bloody shame that my lad has this allergy .....maybe he'll grow out of it ....only time will tell....but it's a whippet that i want or two in an ideal world. I'll keep searching guys.
  14. I get your point mate ...maybe if anyone knows of a breeder i could visit ?
  15. Hi everyone , obviously i'm new here and i'm not a hunter but used to own a weirach hw80 ? many years ago and loved the solitude and occasion of an early morning in the field. Having moved back to a semi rural village , i'm lucky to have a few great walks on my doorstep and i would love to get a dog. i'm hoping someone can give me advice on getting a whippet.I dont particually want the dog to work as such ,it will be a pet first and foremost and will be walked daily on numerous farmland walks nearby (bunny heaven) The issue i have is that my lad (6 years old) has an allergy to
