Reading a few of your posts Mr I have a feeling I know you.did you by any chance have a liking for a large dash of bull blood in most of your dogs years back ?,I think so .Dont worry i wont tell anyone who you are spoil the fun wouldnt it -

been away awhile but by the looks of this thread the whole terrier part is being taken over by girls, pets, asslickers, just people who have no idea what a working dog is .Dont bother coming back with smartass answers because i have no interest in your opinions youve shown through your pictures and comments and attitudes where your coming from.i joined this place as i was told it was a serious working terrier site but all i see is tykes chasing rabits rats squirels and some not even good enough for that simple task . I would\\\'nt compare Mr Darcy\\\'s books to Mr Harcombes book mentioned.Darcy\\\'s are compilations of stories in the main from other people along with his own experiences and stories of course . You could describe Harcombes as THE one terrier book to get if your budget was limited to the price of one working terrier book . It is a how to and how not to book also , different to Darcy\\\'s . It depends what you want I suppopse . Harcombe is the more skilled writer in my opinion . -

\'Shooting News\' was a class act and I don\'t think anything will ever be published again on a weekly basis to match it . Things began going downhill when Plummer began influencing things behind the scenes big time , that was when Tony Jackson (now of Shooting Times fame ) was a big nob in it . He tried bringing Plummer into Shooting Times also but thank f.k he popped his cloggs before he could do much damage . Cu*trymans Weekly will never get over the damage Plummer did , they are catering for the readership he brought to it . The best reading in it at this time are the ads \' sad state of
