Truly Inspirational - save 5 lives in 5 minutes!
huffhuff replied to huffhuff's topic in General Talk
Just a quick update from T, thanks to you guys... You are right to assume that some people have signed up as a direct result of you mentioning Save5 on the various forums. A huge, huge thank you to you. Just to let you know that the figure this morning at breakfast was 2,017 and now it is 2,027!!! Thank you. If you have previously signed up to the donor register, you may want to check your details. The system doesn't work effectively if you have changed your name, married or moved address. Please sign up, re-register and/or check your details. So many people mean to sign up but nev -
Truly Inspirational - save 5 lives in 5 minutes!
huffhuff replied to huffhuff's topic in General Talk
I think lots of people are in the same situation skycat. They have thought about it and know it makes perfect sense (I appreciate, not all feel that way and fair enough) but have never got around to doing it. Hopefully this is a little kick up the bum for people that have thought about doing it! It is literally 5 minutes of your time. But if you do, please go via the save5.org.uk website so that T gets her numbers bumped up before she departs! If i'm completely honest, my mum had a transplant a few years back. A guy in Irelands final good deed was providing my mum with a liver. Without him -
Hi guys, Before you turn away - there is no money being asked for here! I organised a speaker to come along to my club last night and give a talk, all I can say is wow! As the title says, truly inspirational. The founder of this charity has been dealt 2 terminal, incurable lung diseases. She is making it her mission before she dies, to get an extra 10,000 people signed up to the organ donor list. She is asking for no money, but literally 5 minutes of your time to help save 5 lives in the future! If you decide to do this, then please make sure you visit her website and follow the instr

Hi guys, I have a Biro 32 mincer/grinder. Biro are top of the game when it comes to mincers and this bad boy is a real beauty. I am no real expert, but i'd imagine this would only be of use in a big butchers or even a commercial setting. The spec of this model, the 6642 is below (I do need to 100% verify the model); Constructed with stainless steel case and removeable tray. 3 phase, 1.5Kw, 20Hp, accepts 32inch plate, wide angle bowl and guard , gear driven. Dimensions - 990(L) x 560(w) x 120(d) Tray Dimensions - 560(w) x 990(d) x 640(h) Mincer. Looking for £850 pl

Hi guys, My coat habbit is a bit out of control. I've been "asked" if I might like to have bit of a cull! I have the below possibly up for grabs. I say possibly, because it is a great jacket and unless I get the price stated - I am unlikely to part with it. No matter what she threatens me with http://www.johnnorris.co.uk/shop/br_schoffel/498-schoffel-ptarmigan-interactive-coat.html It is tagged as a 52 so i'd say that was a large? There are no tears or rips, paint spills or staining. I never got the additional fleece for it, but think my berghaus layers fit the zip ok. It's a

Hi guys, Just upgraded to a S&B so this is now surplus to requirements. You can see the spec here; http://www.riflesports.co.uk/Nikko_Stirling_Nighteater_Series/Nikko_Stirling_Platinum_Nighteater_6x24x44_One_Inch_Series_Rifle_Scope This is a used scope and as such, has a few markings as per the picture. It is more of a scuff than actual paint damage. May even come off with a rub. Because if this and the fact it comes without original box etc (it was bought already on my rifle) I am only looking for £70 This scope would suit a 17HMR perfectly (it was on mine) but I have rubbish

Berghaus Yeti Attack Gaiters - Sizes 6 to 12 (approx)
huffhuff posted a topic in Clothing & Footwear
Hi guys, Given the recent flourish of Yeti Gaiters for sale, I thought I would test the water with these. Hopefully I can source the sizes you are after! I can get the Berghaus Yeti Attack Gaiters in Dark Green (darker green in picture below - all over). Sizes 6 - 12 (40/41 - 46/47). These gaiters are the same the military, law enforcement and search and rescue teams seem to favour. If you are looking at buying some, i'm sure you already know how good they are! Gaiters cover entire foot/leg to just under the knee. Full goretex uppers. Zipped front with velcro storm flap. Draw cord -
Hi Crippy. For whatever reason I didn't get an email to say you'd replied to the thread. I would have sold it to you if I'd have seen it. I ended up swapping it for an Enzo Trapper instead - only just this weekend too. Appologies

Hi guys, Also advertising these on other forums so it may go quick. I have posted previously, but after discussion with people I was obviously looking for too much. So, now readvertised at a more realistic price. Quick sale preffered to fund a 17hmr! This is a .22 Air Arms S200 air rifle. I am throwing in the Hawke Eclipse 4-12x40 scope and moderator and is a single shot setup. I've not shot 500 pellets from it (still 82 left in the tin). Great gun, nice and lightweight with plenty of umph (just ask the wabbits). Pretty much as new, only one very slight scuff on the stock - and you hav

Hmmm, maybe it says 400 on the stub then (it's a bit scribbled and runny). I'll be honest, I just looked at current gunmart and guntrader adds for an idea on price. Price reduced to £310 then. Or swap and part cash for a 17hmr. Cheers fir h=the heads up .177 -
Here is a Rob Evans 4mm Bushtool that I bought last week. Unfortunately, I find it a tad too heavy for my little man hands. The knife is absolutely gorgeous though. Great craftsmanship and brand spanking shiney and new (and shave sharp). Spec as below; 4mm Bushtool style, Knife razor sharp polished zero scandi grind in 01 steel professionally heat treated to 58rc, the bushtool has a brown leather left hand sheath without dangler belt (mounted stiched and dyed). The bushtool has a snake wood handle and brass fittings including a mosaic pin. I'm looking for £100 or closest sensible offer or
