  1. 22lr sub is still carrying over 50 ftlbs of energy at 100 metres, easily done. of course, if you're shooting a semi that are notorious for poor accuracy then don't expect too much, i don't push my buckmark out much past 50 odd yards.

  3. little update, i didn't get the job, never mind, i can't compete with monkeys willing to work for peanuts. Jesus! £1300 all in for 530m sq offices on 3 floors? the twat's welcome to it...
  4. that old chestnut, it's a scam, a fiddle, don't part with your goods until you get the money regardless.
  5. hi lab, that's pretty much how i've worked it for now, i was trying to see if it worked out to a similar figure, what makes it a bit awkward is the window sizes differ, some are full height and about 3m long, while others are about 2ft square, a linear price would help get an accurate price rather than guess how long it would take then add a bit,. thanks for the advice tho.
  6. hi gents, i'm pricing a refurb job at the moment, the main contractor wants a price inline with the meterage rates, the walls and lids aren't a problem but i cant find anything on windows, door frames, or skirting, anyone here have a clue? i know what i want to charge and i reckon it'll be near enough but if anyone could give me a link or a price per metre it'd be a great help. just for info, 6" ogee skirting, port culliss windows,(lots of mullions), standard 5,1/4" door liners. thanks in advance, gram.
  7. all this talk of "back doors" ooer missus! i'm slap bang in the middle, ish...
  8. i had a spaz 12 a while back, it had ghost sights on it, it was shit. my browning on the other hand has a mid bead, just line it up with the bead on the end and hey presto, i start hitting stuff
  9. buy an island somewhere warm, an AMG "G"wagon, a matched pair of hollands, and a steady stream of hookers.
  10. i've got a pull through bore cleaning kit for my hmr, it's a little more traditional than the bore snake, the brush screws on the end of a wire, then change over to a patch. and if i cut the patches too big it's a fecker to get through the barrel. in retrospect i think i'd have been better off with a boresnake.
  11. now thats cheap but would stretch to £40 for 250. now your talkin, vista print are ok but if you use them be prepared to get bombarded with email offers 2 or 3 times a day for the next 6 months
  12. sorry but that first song is shit, the gods that are ELO reign supreme mr blue sky.... mr bluuuue skyeye..
  13. you could try jamming it up your arse? apparently it sorts out ya tagnuts a treat... be warned though, don't buy the cheap copies as they tend to break easily and a a bit of a sod to get out.

  19. a mate of mine had one that had a fully moderated barrel, very nice gun and not long in the barrel either, saddlery & gunroom had done a nice job.
