People worry to much, feed it anything you like, there wasn't anything like puppy food until the marketing division got a eureka moment. I never saw a wolf or fox take back puppy food

I did the exact same thing with a box, only I put the collar on with it ? Drove back to find them on a main road in thousands of pieces

I've personally never gone in for the masculine looking bully types, but you still can't help but to admire them, nice animals, credit to you

If you are line breeding or inbreeding you're doubling up on the fault and setting it, the only way you'll improve your chances is new blood without the fault.

Picture of your dog's as pups and then fully grown
dillydog replied to Grafters's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
The original poster had only just become a member, the terrier shown had never seen a blade of grass never mind work and of course he'd given himself a "power" name ? A few lads have had to explain to the powers that be why on the pictures on the internet and their home photos their little puppy ended up heavily marked up and what documentation they had to prove said dog had been to a vet.......but don't let common sense put you off, after all, when did most terrier lads ever let their brains get in the way of their egos- 27 replies

Don't do it, bit a few lads on the arse, unless you've got the full veterinary care history you'll be hanging yourself because you won't be able to say how, why and when you're terrier came by their marks- 27 replies

effects of corona in terrier work
dillydog replied to timmy k's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Some of the big estates are having the season off, a lot of the small shoots are folding, it should be a better season, pray for rain to keep the 4x4's off the grass too ? -
Undershot ?

I often thought about that myself, be good to hear how they went on

You're only seeing the ones I want you to see, there's a few I wouldn't put my name too ? Bosun, he's not a big dog as the picture portrays, he's just strong in the bone and all front, shoulders, chest and head.
-
He's the last dog out of the old bitch, he's making a hell of a dog too, I'll see if it let's me load a picture of him and his half brother.

The reason Rambo is in most pedigrees is he was thought of as something special by people desperate to have that elusive, exceptional animal a "genuine earth dog Bedlington". The fact the dog was shit didn't seem to matter, dreamers and fools are common in all walks of the dog world, the Bedlington crew seem to attract them like flies to shit though.

I don't know anyone stupid enough to breed a APBT into a decent working terrier, wtf would they bring to the table ? -
Best of luck bending your head around his strange ramblings Bosun, I've tried dozens of times to take in the pages of the other books and got nowhere.

Should fit right in with the Middleton and Nuttall books in the bin then, why they let that tit write anything is beyond me, he should stick to crayons

I've had the pieps and the red box fluctuate on plenty of digs, you can hear the terrier ticking away and yet the reading goes up and down by meters. No idea why it happens, you'd only get filled with their standard BS excuses if you contacted them anyway. The best you can do is to treat it as just a part of your arsenal in locating your terrier, I wouldn't be without one but I've been frustrated hundreds of times with them -

How to find fox earths
dillydog replied to SportingWhippetdog's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
No offense taken, I didn't give two fucks, I knew the law and at the time it was on my side, I was one of the test cases when they tried to bring in the law of digging without permission, it got kicked out if court but they eventually got it passed. At the time there was no law against taking vermin, damaging land or property yes, but not actually taking vermin like fox. I didn't have anyone to learn from and it showed. -
