I've got no idea what you're talking about I've never commented on any of the shit you've driveled on here once, go and play with you're imaginary terriers and you're imaginary tough game prick
-
No ego here cowboy, I just hate to see someone comment and then take it down unseen........almost like they're how would you say in America "a hard ass" ? Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you too

Have the courage of your convictions, if you've got something to say spit it out

Then use a dog that you've seen work, one with the drive and size to get there, that POS fanny licker has a chest bigger than my misses

The most successful pipes I've had foxes from on a regular basis are all straight pipes ! The best by far was at the bottom of a slight bank, it was a number of drains that lay side by side so obviously over the years the farmer had relayed drains instead of repairing the old ones. Each drain pipe was a different type, there was a square cast steel pipe, a brick half round pipe, a steel round pipe and clay round pipe. Over the years somehow each pipe either was broken through ploughing or digging, so the fox could swap from one pipe to the other. It took a few years of doing that p

Storing eggs for invitro fertilization
dillydog replied to Rickshaw swami's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Ask a sheep farmer, they take eggs from quality sheep, fertilise them and implant them in run of the mill shit to carry till birth. I spoke to a lad who's big into texel sheep, he certainly got me thinking. -
Those that work them will always breed for work, mind you, didn't they say the same thing about the russells ?

Anything below the magical £1000 mark these days ?

Reminds me of this picture, I miss those two terriers badly

I've sat in your living room and came away with a lurcher pup ?
-
My last litter for a few years, only the two in this litter but I'm more than happy with them.

Common sense dictates whether they can put a shift in, I'm always torn between retirement or work, work usually wins. You can always pick their places, the alternative is them watching you get ready knowing full well where you're going and wondering why they can't go, they don't know that they're old, work them accordingly. And it shouldn't be about ego ever

International Working Terrier Match
dillydog replied to Bosun11's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
How the f**k can you get "snubbed" at a dog show, what were you expecting, a reach around or a group hug ? -
No, but now I'm intrigued ??

We can all scroll on by, what I can guarantee is the people that want an end to our way of life won't, they'll be taking screen shots and taking names....... Better to not give them a stick to beat us with

Why ?

I'll be straight around, can't believe my luck ?

People worry to much, feed it anything you like, there wasn't anything like puppy food until the marketing division got a eureka moment. I never saw a wolf or fox take back puppy food

I did the exact same thing with a box, only I put the collar on with it ? Drove back to find them on a main road in thousands of pieces

I've personally never gone in for the masculine looking bully types, but you still can't help but to admire them, nice animals, credit to you

If you are line breeding or inbreeding you're doubling up on the fault and setting it, the only way you'll improve your chances is new blood without the fault.

Picture of your dog's as pups and then fully grown
dillydog replied to Grafters's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
The original poster had only just become a member, the terrier shown had never seen a blade of grass never mind work and of course he'd given himself a "power" name ? A few lads have had to explain to the powers that be why on the pictures on the internet and their home photos their little puppy ended up heavily marked up and what documentation they had to prove said dog had been to a vet.......but don't let common sense put you off, after all, when did most terrier lads ever let their brains get in the way of their egos- 27 replies
