  1. This dog recoverd this Sambar hind after a 3.2 kilometre blood track. He tracked it through some heavy cover and past a lot of unwounded deer.
  2. Do you get many problems with the yotes passing on the mange to your dogs?
  3. That Apolo semen is going in at 1.00pm this afternoon.. I have everything crossed hop[ing the AI works!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Here's "Beauty" with a Sambar spiker she flushed out of a black berry thicket.
  5. I can't see them taking of in the uk untill the price drops ! What I can see happening how ever is that they'll get bought by people that've got £££ in their sights and not get tried to their full potential . Which would be a great shame as I would love to see how these dogs work!! The price will come down once there is a good number of dogs in the UK. The quick quid chasers will be fairly short lived. Your close proximity to Europe and the best bloodlines in the world is a major advantage. The hardest thing about keeping these dogs here in Australia is keeping them alive. They are seriousl
  6. They look the goods. Jags will take off in the UK I reckon.
  7. Excellent stuff! Industrial size rats! What is the breeding of the liver/roan dog?
  8. He was undocked till the car door incident . Little blighter looks like a Doberman.
  9. When sterilized they no longer produce the hormones which have a fairly significant influence on behaviour especially when it is done early in their lives. All hunting dogs need to have high prey drive particularly terriers. In my experience the majority of sterilised dogs have less prey drive and they tend not to behave like unsterilized dogs. Vets will always tell you that sterilisation is a good idea to minimise the large number of unwanted pups and strays around the place. They aren't interested in making a few quid though - its all to do with animal welfare .
  10. We use 'em here for finding and pushing Sambar deer out of heavy cover. The trail barking, sharp nose and acute prey drive make them deadly. I run mine pure. I can't see how crossing them up will improve them.
  11. Here are a couple of Aussie Jagds
  12. Jagd Terriers have been very well accepted amongst hunters here in Australia as well. Nice work Vitaliy!!!
  13. I have made a few 50 metre quickset nets and find them to be doing the job well. I also have four 25 metre stop nets. I reckon I'll have a go at a 100 metre model. The only thing that concerns me is, that I have to use 200 metres of 18 ply 4" net, 15 meshes deep. The wieght might be an issue. My question is - do any of you use 100 metre or longer nets? And are you happy with them?
  14. I have just received a consignment from my manufacturer it is 210/18 ply, 4" mesh, 15 meshes deep and its double selvdged. I'm happy to sell it as shhet netting in 200 metre lengths or as made up long nets. (Australia only)
  15. Thank you gentlemen! I bought nylon I was just looking for some support from the pros. Cheers.......
