  1. I was an 11 year old lad still learning and yes running a rabbiting dog at hares. Iv said this to plenty of people like you before on here and Ill say it again. your brave on your computer because chances are youll never see me in "real life" and you know and take comfort from that. You sound a total nonce to me and every one else I think?! And if you carried on like that in front of me id punch your face to ribbions. you childish fool. well said. GUN SHIP, you really sound like a anti to me.
  2. I have found a good litter of coursing pups now, not the above, but from someone else. their not born yet, but sound good for the future. looking forward to it.

  4. did that khan ebery breed to bitch in belfast 2 pups for sale saying that he is the sire both 14 months I know the litter these two came from. If you search back through the posts you'll see a pic of a saluki dog called Buster which was bred by John Lennon out of a daughter of his famous old bitch, Star and Khan Jihad. This was about 5 years ago and long before his present, or previous owner had Khan. My pal Collie and I each brought a pup home with us to Northern Ireland from one of our stays with John. In the summer of 2009 I arranged a mating between Buster and the Willow bitch that

  10. heard a lot of good things about this dog and hear their is some of his breeding here in ireland but dont know where? anyone have a clip of him running or any info off lads that know about him ect? thanks.
  11. thanks. i run small fields. a up and at them type is needed but a touch of saluki i find gives them staying power. too much and they feck of and hunt for them selfs after loosing the hare.
  12. well was talking to a few lads that have saluki x coursing dogs. they said they dont get injured as much as a whippet x hound and other lurchers. to the lads that have these coursing dogs does yours get injured much? their feet are good. my whipet x hound x saluki hardly ever gets injured. when i had a whippet x hound she was allways getting her feet hurted.
  13. fair comment gents. i corsed the montain hare in scotland couple of years back by invite. found them easy, compared to our hare here in ireland. if i got a good coursing bred pup over their in the uk, or if someone had one here, with a lot of saluki in them would it catch hares here if brought up here?
  14. have you run here hares in ireland? its not easy. mind you, seen a first x saluki hound take a good few hares. id say, what your saying makes sence. reckon if a fen pup was brought up here it would learn if it did not give up first! blue one thats a good clip similar to land i run my dogs on.
  15. are them australian imports? are they working well?
  16. christ some good reading here so it is. over here in ireland you would be in jail for a while if you got caught lamping deer with dogs. the poor dogs would be put down as well. its bad enough us lads trying to get a run at a hare. i would love to try it mind if it was ok would good craic.
  17. thanks Kevin. Keep me posted. Never went to it last year, heard its a good one.
