interesting. is this how Pk got the salukis into his kennels and does the strain he has now, come from these ? so from what i gather, lucas is the name these days and irish lady was a lassie collie x irish terrier? O, with a bit of borzoi thrown in? i must say, when i seen the lucas dog in the flesh, he was a tidy looking dog so he was.

found this pic below of irish lady, its the fawn bitch. i think she must be the most talked about coursing bitch in the country. start of legends some say? a lot say their was no saluki in her, but she looks to have some in her? whats the dogs or dog/bitch these days making names for them selfs?

work with pup on one to one basis go back to training and get it to retrieve a dead rabbit dont over do it. good luck.

well lads before the saluki crosses came here, what was the most used lurcher on the hare for a hunt? i was told whippet x greyhound and deerhound cross? any old good dogs from the passed that were whippet x greyhound? lot of shit being bred now, not many good whippet x greyhounds about?

I find chloramycetin, very good for a dogs eyes, if scratched or sore from long grass ect.

wont be going this year, after getting mobbed by a young gang of travelers last year asking me to race their dog against mine. when i said no and walked on, they persisted and got quiet intimidating! i looked for security, but none around, had to go into crowds and tents to loose them! not all travelers are bad, but these were a nightmare!! their is a good few i know, that went last year, that wont be returning this year. i hope, this year, it runs ok for you, good luck.

years ago, i use to get it very fresh, from a local butcher that slaughter his own cattle. Its very good, when fresh, but a lot now a days, is cooked and minced, taking out the nutritional value. If you can find a butcher, or abatoir, that will let you take tripe away fresh, then that is the best way, in my opinion.
