  1. How much is what? And regards guns, no one can really say what will be a good gun for you, they can only really give their opinions on guns they've owned. But for that, they'd need to know what kind of gun your after (ou/sbs/pump/semi/single etc.) and also what scenario you'd be using it (clay/rough etc.) ATB Dan
  2. No if you drop dead your partner would have to 'find' your keys whilst cleaning out your stuff
  3. Yeah if he asks where the keys will be kept, just say "in a safe place" (then say no more) Mine said "if I call round one day and want to check your guns, but your at work, would your mum be able to let me take a look?" Again just reply "No one would be able to let you look but me, you'd have to contact me at work" to which he replied "good answer" He's not out to get you, he's just there to educate on the safe keeping of guns.
  4. Cheers Chris! Thats cleared that up then, Id say its probably best to not shoot clays on it.
  5. As above, .410 mossberg 500 hushpower, CRACKING gun for close range rabbits and squirrels! and quiet, (doesnt sound too quiet when your shooting it but stand a bit away from the shooter and you'll appreciate how quiet it is)
  6. Hello, time to pick your brains again, Ive managed to get hold of a few clay traps off of a friend for cheap, but before I start shooting clays on my land I want to know where I stand with regards to shot falling on other peoples land?? I remember fly fishing once as a child and every so often hearing a shot and then a few seconds later the scattering of shot hitting the water and rippling the surface, my dad decided it was too dangerous to fish there and we left...anyway im side tracking. Here in this photo is the boundaries of my permission: Here in this photo is directional
  7. Thankyou very much! Not quite sure why bills a lobster but there you go! some things are best left unexplained
  8. If someone says to you, I have rabbits on my land can you come and shoot them. Whats the law on turning up with a shotgun (not a rifle, im presuming rifle is different) and hunting the rabbits, with regards to the police? Do the police have to check the land is suitable first? Or is it up to the shotgun holder to say its suitable to shoot on?
  9. Well if they do look like the above photo Then im guessing they could fire .22 rifle ammunition
  10. Has anyone ever used one? Im struggling to understand what a .22 cartridge would look like, Ive google imaged .22 shotgun cartridge and cant see anything apart from the usual 9mm garden gun rounds. Heres a link to afore mentioned .22 shotgun: http://www.guntrader.co.uk/GunsForSale/110716144651405 Theres only 4 on the whole of guntrader so im guessing they're really unpopular due to being rubbish??
  11. Send me a link to where you got your saddle from please, Ive been looking for ages and cant find one for mine (winchester 120 ranger pump) I think the 1200, 1300 and 120 are pretty much the same thing....ish
  12. Haha exactly ^^ Fly to Amsterdam £25, spend £2,475 getting baked and banging ladies from all over the world
  13. Hello, I'm selling a gun, ive just been messaged by someone requiring "the number on the top strap (in full)" Is that the kind of information you give? Why would someone need to know it? (I understand the need to enter it on your certificate once sold but before you've even looked at it I don't know why you'd need it) Sorry I'm just new to it so don't really know the ins and outs.
  14. Sold pending arrival of buyers SGC

  16. 12g Over and under Multichoke I'm selling my Lanber (Reluctantly, my mixers just broke and I need it replacing sharpish) it's the gold trigger model, like new (really tight action and no marks), includes all 5 original chokes key and wallet, comes with the hard case including all the original plastic slips. I've fired at most 200 cartridges through it, I bought it off a local shop who was asked to sell it for a guy who bought it, used it once was going through a divorce and sold it to the shop (in exchange for a fake receipt so his wife couldn't get any money) £500 I'll
  17. Yeah they flopped whilst trying to remove their comrade, and they'll probably kick themselves for the rest of their lives. Adrenaline was through the roof, it was their first contact on their first patrol in their first war, they were under heavy fire trying to remove their mate who was bleeding out on a hammock....not a stretcher a hammock. I guarantee anyone in that situation would have reacted the same way as those guys did, they gave it their all. I bet if the same situation happened a month into their tour there would have been zero mistakes, if you look at the scenes of th
  18. I've read up on it the past couple of days and your allowed to go over on holiday for example, buy a shotgun (you mist take your sgc) and bring it back with you provided you have it in a secure manner and checked into the luggage (not hand luggage) once landed you walk through uk customs and declare it, they will put it in your licence and you may have to pay tax on it. Posting from the states?? f**k knows haha
  19. It says on Virgin Atlantic, your permitted to carry shotguns aslong as it's checked in as baggage not carry on, and you have paperwork to legally have it (I'm guessing that's your certificate??) So is it possible to buy and fly back with? If so I'm getting one next time I'm over
  20. I think once you've cleaned the barrel with the patches and bore cleaner you run the copper wire thing up and down each barrel something stupid like 200 times (turning it each time so it doesn't leave scores) then put a drop of oil on the soft thing and run a light coat down the barrel. That's how I do mine, I probably do it totally wrong though!
  21. If its on BBC 2 im guessing they'll get it on the Iplayer, If not you can watch it in parts on youtube, not ideal I know but its better than a kick in the gooch
  22. Go to www.photobucket.com and create an account (Free) it will walk you through how to get your photos onto there, then from that website there is a link which you just click on, and then click the paste button on here and its up
  23. I cant get on the link, but is this the guy I saw on the news Fri night who, whilst his mates were sleeping, on his own killed 30 Taliban in 15 minutes using: 250 Machine gun rounds 150 Rifle rounds 17 Hand grenades 1 Claymore 1 Machine gun tripod 1 Sandbag Or is that something else? Because that bloke was hard as nails and deserves everything he wants
  24. ^^ Thats just one of those daft Indians like the one who lived all his life with his hand in the air, this ones just decided its going to walk like a c**t everywhere. But the video of the thing crossing the road, If it is a hoax then someones gone to alot of trouble, the shadow of it ties in with the street lights then also ties in with the cars headlights once upon it Gets me how all these "monsters" and unexplained mysteries are always in shit quality video/photo
