  1. like stroller said, get the basics in but keep at them, give them an inch they'll take a foot, one of mine is 5 and she' a work horse never stops hunting, excellent at finding game and hard as nails, thier range can be a bit scary.. talking a field away so they got to be sharp..
  2. Heres a couple of pictures of my little whippet..cracking little dog but sadly he has a problem with a back leg muscle, vets said they wanted to operate and this would mean he wouldn't work again, thing is it doesn't seem to bother him even when out just exercising this means he may be retiring..hence the look out for a beddy grey for the years to come..

  12. my thoughts too, some say they're to specialized in their own to be of any good as a cross..had many a beddy x whippet and have never known anyone to have owned and worked a pure beddlington terrier..
  13. Hi everyone, well we,ve just realized one of our german wirehairs is in pup to my whippet , she,ll be about 4 to 5 weeks.. both are excellent in thier field. Now i do know that people have crossed gwp to greyhounds and have had good results but has anyone come across a whippet cross.
