hi i have been looking into the use of decoys for purpose of wise foxes and have seen you can buy a machine that spins a rabit decoy around just wondering if any one has made one them selves i am quite good at things like this so just wondered if any one had any good ideas of how to do this because i am working on the cheap is better approach could just do with a few ideas i plan to place my u caller next to this when using it
hi just wondering where i could get new calls for my ucaller as one bloke on here was nice enough to send me out a cd with them on but on arrival could not get them to play after calls for fox and for roe deer cheers
i am using home loads sierra 55 grain heads h414 powder and winchester primers long range was bad words to use i usually get foxes in at about 250 300 yards when lamping they never want to come any closer dont blame them lol
i havent been doing this long so would just like to know what people find works for them at the moment i am using

hi just taking an interest in to how people like to zero their rifles as most of my shots are long range and was interested to see their is a better way than i am using which is zero at hundred meters and would also like to know how far a 22.250 will shoot flat before drop off cheers

Hi all just been getting a 200tdi disco it's on a j plate it needs a little fetteling here and there but other wise pretty solid it s going in to my mates garage to have the full under. Side cleaned down so i can weld any holes ect then I can paint my axels and everything the one problem I stumped with is the heators won't blow hot only cold and it isn't the head gasket could it just be a foulty matrix cheers

me and my mate decided to go out laming on friday even thro the weather was crap full moon dead still and foggy so off we went just up to my local farm lamping out of the van we drove the full stretch of permission not a glimpse of any thing so we decided to turn round and drive it again about three fields in my mate told me to stop in a panic he had seen a fox close in sitting about 65 yards away right tight in on the dyke edge so i pulled over grabbed the tikka out of the back and slipped over the gate my mate changed from the blitz to his striker so that we didnt scare the fox i gave him th
just got back in zeroed the scope this morning and was impressed with the clarity and i found it just as clear tonight took a couple of rabbit s out at around 150ish with ease the cross hair is very fine but i could still make it out perfectly people had warned me off leupold because of this but i think its just down to personel prefference great scope shame i never saw a fox thats the only down side
hi just picked up a new scope for my tikka its a leoupold vx3 4.5x14x50 duplex cant wait untill tomorrow till i get to go zero it and take it out lamping
hi just won a 1990s tac 2 night sight off flea bay cheap i lent one off a family friend a while back but never got chance to test it out in the field i know it wont be up to todays standards but just wondering if anyone has one or uses one just to see if it will do the job cheers
hi at the moment i have a edgar brothers 3 x 9 x 50 but am looking for something better seen as cash dosent grow on tree s and is a bit tight at the minuete second hand seems the best option does any one have anything for sale cheers
went out to my local farm the other day with my rifle to take care of a few foxes when the farmer stopped me and asked if i could do away with a few pigeon s when id inspected the barns in question by a few he ment over a hundred the barn was alive so the following evening me and my mate charged up the logan lamps and armed with an s410 in 22 and a carbine s410 in 177 we set to clean out after about an hour the barn was empty having two flying away the total culled was about 100 what a night great sport
