    Bob, I was racing Non-Peds in the 60's & 70's, and still go along to watch now; but your'e right, and it's not just in Scotland.... to see handicaps here in the North East of England with only 6 to 12 dogs is a shame. In the old days it was a magnificent acheivment to win a R.Ch, there was that many dogs ! But now, it's fair to say some get their R.Ch's on a bye !! I ran at the Rising Sun in The British Open Championship, and there would be well over 100 dogs; running a heat, quarter final , semi final and final to get amongst the winners, but at Cambois Open a few days ago, some classes

    You dont wanna be using shock collars on an 11 week old pup, nor super soakers, cant you bring the pup inside, and use a cage I wasnt drowning the little fecker it was merely a shock to break his concentration from whining this happened over the course of a couple of days at most but i took the time off work to settle him in so he didnt get into the habit of whining all day.!! only time he makes a noise now is when someones poking about after dark...

    super soaker worked for me everytime he started i would shout quiet!! and give a quick squirt he wasnt long of cottoning on.But might not work on them all. ATB

    some dog there 7 out 8 runs on golf course and just missed the last I know got him back end of last season so didnt do much with him but was very impressed first 2 looked like a challenge but after that well couldnt beleive it for not being worked fit walked up to where he bent and couldnt see nowt but honestly looked like he had hit fkn fence or summit was quite worried thought he was a gonna!!! if this hadnt happened we could have easily had an hour or 2 there..his only real fault is hes an absolute cnt in the kennel whines and chews fk out everything yet in the house completely chilled.

    Well my saluki collie grey,,, was hoovering them up 3 weeks ago 1st night out of the season caught 7 out of 8 runs in about 20 mins was absolutely delighted and went for a strike on the 8th and got fkd by summit in the rough dont know what it was but it sent him flying thought he had broke his leg at first turns out just a sprain.. but only just starting to walk on it without hanging it up vet reckons 3 mts rest thats his season goosed. pleased am not relying on just 1 dog!!.. said dog is getting an hour in the pool every week split to 2 half hrs to help strengthen his wrist.hopefully he might

    be nice and slow around them open the door let them smell your hand a little till they get bored then slowly touch them i find with kitts personally the more ther are in the cage the more they bite with excitement/anxiety i split mine personally till around eight months and never had any real trouble just be slow and consistent,ATB

    i have to hobs here 1 poley dark bout 6 months hasnt bitten but will lick and chew your hands,and 1 albino who is approx 3 months old is fine if you show him your hand first but nips a bit if your too quick!! this is just a handling issue and will get better with age both are free to good homes and were bred by myself. in the north east.( from working stock) Please no mongers (like 2 i have already had went emtpty handed)genuine people that will look after these animals properly, if i beleive you to be a you will b sent away empty handed regardless of whether your insulted or not.2 of the 4
