  1. Sorry to hear that mate mine hit a tree nearly 15 yrs ago and was killed only just managed to get myself another pup now!!! and im nervous as feck about taking him out when its ready,,wish i had got another one earlier now.. hope the pup does well for you mate All the best.
  2. My bsa super star likes accupells,domed and pointed good at distance for game but as with all you will have to experiment with differing weight and profile projectiles till you get your groups where you want em,

Hi mate its underlever and everything was working fine until this happened bit annoyed because apart from the weight its a canny springer i can hit everything i want with it and it does the damage at distance too!! would put it in local shop but last time it went for aservice it came back well well under power to the extent that whole characteristics changed went from really good 50/70yd rabbits to thinking i had F853ing missed!! so all help is greatly appreciated thanks will give it a go

Hi all having probs with my bsa superstar trigger what a fiddly peice of sh*t a tiny spring snapped around trigger got new one took it apart cant seem to get it to work right now!!!!! arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!*** every time i cock it it just fires off straight away,,??????? any help greatly appreciated boys and girls thanks in advance.

I know hes only just 4 month but its fecking killin me! and i am thinkin about waiting end of feb to take him ferreting coz i am an ipatient get ! and if he starts well he will be out every op i get dont want to sicken him off or pick up any stupid injuries early on, coz i think he will be a good un been out the game over 15yrs or so just gettin back into it but cant remember any of my previous pups being so willing to learn hes a treat to teach picks up stuff in minutes by far the most obedient pup i have ever owned the last dog i had was the one that finished me all those years ago started h

Had the pup and the terrier out tonight just as was gettin dark locally jumpin with rabbits terrier was liftin stuff left right and centre but pup only 17 wks was just doin his usual thing he walks nice an tight to heel.i was desperately gettin the urge to show him summit but dont want to spoil him wouldnt care there was couple easy ones that the terrier caught right out in the middle o nowhere. but i dont want him runnin amock with the old un just yet otherwise i dare say he would have had a go and not really sure what the impact would be if the terrier showed him a trick or two!   9. cheers will just keep trying sppose just dont want pup to go to waste like ..i have got plenty ferreting for the company i work for on holiday parks but not ideal for running the pup like not enough open ground and to many collisions waiting to happen!

Hi there used to do a lot with ferrets and lurchers years ago and had quite a few permissions in northumberland but been out of it for around 15yrs now and lost contact with everyone!!(wife,work,kids etc),now looking to get back into it been to a few places and done the right thing like but people seem to snarl and more or less not in so many words just tell you to fook off,now i am decent person and refuse to do nowt without permission cant be arsed wi the shite like.just got myself a pup he,ll be 16 weeks on sunday also got 3 ferrets and a jack russellxlakeland who is to old now but he still
  11. sorry,yes lucky was the wrong way to put it,socialisation is what iv just been doing and have done so in the past always with good results Luck was the wrong way to put it your right, I felt you where selling yourself short your dogs success comes from the effort you put in If more people took the time with socialisation then their would be less problem dogs about.   12. fortunately for me my pup is 15 weeks and as cool as a cucumber nothing fazes the little f+++er not even traffic on busy roads and that was his first time on the lead if he gets any more laid back he will be horizontal, hes extremely intelligent teaching recall took about 15mins, teaching him to sit, paw and lie down all the same which is absolutely brilliant compared to some i have owned just wish he'd get the toilet right sharpish coz havin the cage in the kitchen is doin my head in you cnt get moved for it. will be teaching to retrieve next and let him make friends with the ferrets.
