If its just rabbiting your after a whippet will suffice,the trouble with hunting if you catch the bug is you will want to widen your horizons,if thats the case i would go for something a bit more versatile.

iv been rabiting for over ten years now and have just used a terrier as a marking dog. only really been into rabits but i know what ur saying. what would you say is a good all rounder?

hello all. Im Jonny and i have just registered on here. i am looking for a bit of advice. i have quite a lot of rabitting permission and currently have a terrier that marks well, however, i am now looking at the prospect of obtaining a lurcher. i have never owned a lurcher and i am a complete beginner when it comes to them.could anyone point me in the right direction as to what cross you would recommend and why?
